This is my go-to delivery spot in Park Slope. Always arrives HOT and very fast. I’m vegetarian and appreciate that they offer tofu and mock duck. Flavors are great, never greasy, veggies are fresh and not overcooked. Price is right.

Stopped by yesterday for lunch, and decided to try something different than Pad Thai. So i order Seafood suki yaki. The soup is very delicate and not too spicy. This dish is some how very healthy.

I remember when it was just Beet, so I guess it must have changed ownership or something. The décor has changed a little– bit more subdued than before, but the food is still great. Will always come back here when I am in the neighborhood. I’m a sucker for Pad Thai, but it’s so much more than that!

This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants, the only problem is that when you order food during lunch hour They give you half portion. I call and specify I do not want the lunch special. That I just want to regular order but during these hours they only give you half of what you get at dinner time. When I call for a pick up in the evening I get full portions, I don’t see why if they charge me for the exact meal why less of a portion during lunch hours. At the top this I travel from Williamsburg.

I wonder how many people(just like me) don’t eat here because they don’t have a floor?

Meh. Nothing special. Food is ok. Some items are better than others. I would most likely pass on this Thai place for others any given day.

As soon as you walk in Beet 2 there is an overwhelming smell of feet. After ten minutes or so the smell decreased(my only negative comment). I ordered the salmon mango salad… DELICIOUS! This definitely made up for the weird smell. The salad was filled with so much spice and flavor! Would definitely go back again

I used to work right next door an I would order here like once in a blue, simple lunch special chicken with broccoli an rice. There spring roll was always my favorite. Haven’t been back in a while but I sure enjoyed the times an service I had when I did come. Definitely will be back an I’ll update my review then.

Stopped by here for lunch yesterday. here is my 0.02: My wife and I LOVE Thai food and we enjoy trying new places out. The décor is decent, pretty hipster-ish but that’s expected — it’s Park Slope. We started off with an appetizer, the chicken curry puffs. They weren’t terrible, considering you get 3 pieces for $ 5 but I don’t know if I’d get them again. They were too starchy for my taste and almost flavorless. For our main dish, my wife got the pad beef pad see ew which was decent. I got the beef pad thai which was a little bland if you ask me but I’d have to say one of the better Thai places in Brooklyn. Overall, our experience here was not bad — I would probably eat here again. Definitely better than any other Thai place in Bay Ridge

I’ve been here a few times, once for take-out and once dine-in. The food — AWESOME!!! I would highly recommend stopping here to grab your quick dinner on your way home. Dishes average around $ 10 – 12, and the appetizers are around $ 5(note: the tom kha soup is superb). I’ve gotten various dishes here: pad thai, fried rice, eggplant, drunken noodles… all very delicious!!! The service — it’s pretty much… what you’d expect. There was no one dining in — I am pretty sure this place is one of those that runs largely on take-out. They don’t have any alcohol, but you can BYOB!

Don’t waste your money here. Not good. A lot of oil! My rule is that I never go to a restaurant that is rated B. This time I made an exception just because there were so many great reviews about his restaurant. Never again will I break my own rule. I went today to Beet II for lunch, they had the lunch special of ordering a main entrée and it comes with spring roll, soup or salad. I had the spicy flat noodles with chicken and I chose the salad since it’s hot and I wanted to have a fresh crisp salad w nice light Thai dressing. The salad came on the same plate as a spring roll and the little bowl of sauce. The salad was barely a few leaves of lettuce one grape tomato cut in half, one thick slice of cucumber cut in half, shreds of carrots and the main event! A big blob of spicy peanut sauce on top of it all!!! I was surprised. I’ve never had this type of salad w this type of «dressing» at a Thai restaurant. Then my order came in, it was a big square white plate. W a little small pile of glossy noodles with bits of chicken in the middle w a big leaf of basil on top of it all. On their online menu it says it cooked with vegetables and onions and basil and fresh chili. And frankly I’ve had AUTHENTIC spicy flat noodle before. And this was no where near it! There was a lot of oil. Noodles that were not FRESH at all! They were gummy and broken up. The chicken were super small little pieces. There was only that one leaf of basil in my whole meal. And surprisingly there was a few slices of green pepper and red bell peppers in the whole plate. Yes it was spicy, but it’s probably because of all the hot chili oil they put. There was no chili flakes. P. S. As soon as I saw the platter and how small it is I ordered a side of white rice. This place. I don’t get it. People were raving about it. But seriously this was no where near authentic or amazing or delicious. I hated it. I couldn’t believe this. I seriously recommend Song on 5th ave or joya at their other location on court st. So much better so much more on the plate. So much more flavor so amazing and affordable.

Still the best Thai on the slope, skip the others and just come here. Fresh produce, clean taste and friendly Thai staff… faultless.

This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve tried when I visit to NYC so far. I’m just randomly craving Thai food around my parking area. I got wok chilly squid stir fried, and the qualities were awesome! Freshness of quids and veggie in authentic sauce that I can smell some fish sauce and oyster sauce nicely balance. Thai tea and Salad were fresh and flavorful. Must try this restaurant if you have any chance.

Have been going to Beet Thai before it became Beet Thai II. I can honestly say I’ve eaten here over 10 times. So this review is overdue. I usually order the same thing with Thai Chicken Fried Rice as my main and veggie spring rolls as my appetizer. I love it, hence why I order the usual. I cannot account for anything else on the menu. The lunch special consist of an entrée and an appetizer for $ 8.00. So stop by for a full belly. FYI: Its good for dates for all my lovebirds out there!

I’m disappointed with my first experience in Beet II since it’s change in management. My review is a mix between how my experience compared to what I’m use to in Beet(I) and what I thought of the restaurant overall. My husband had the house tea along with the spring roll appetizer(our favorite in Beet). I ordered the shrimp and pork dumplings. I had never had them before. The spring rolls were okay, but the plum sauce was a shadow of the sauce we loved in Beet(Beet I). My dumplings were awesome! I scarfed them down. I could have had like twelve of those(the order comes with four). While I’m not raving about much else at Beet II, I would love to return again when they have their liquor license to enjoy those dumplings with some drinks and perhaps try some of the other appetizers,(which all looked good). Our entrees is why I’m giving them two stars. We both had Pad Thai. I had squid pad thai and my husband had a seafood pad thai. They were bad. They smelled cheesey, and tasted sweet and salty at the same time. The flavor was, simply put, bad. The restaurant looks cute, the service was spot on and our server was great. The place is clean and the plating was neat. It’s conveiniently located on a great 7th avenue block. I wanted to love the food, I held my breath and I was disapointed. I would like to come back and try another entrée(not a noodle!) but atleast see if they get something right there, because I reeeeaaallyyyy want to like their food. Unfortunately, so far, I’m not a fan at all…
