In my Philosophical Counseling practice, I aim to create a safe and stimulating space for reflection leading to action through spirited dialogue that examines your life with respect to matters of ultimate concern. Put more simply: it is about helping you get where you need to go: to live wisely, live well, and be clear.
Goals and benefits include:
–clarifying, justifying, and/or reconfiguring your worldview and values
–developing a more robust and diverse intellectual life
–cultivating personal autonomy and skillful habits of mind
–sorting out conflicts in belief systems within yourself, your family, your organization, etc.
–rethinking and reimagining your options and possibilities with respect to a particular problem
–dealing with moral dilemmas at home or at work
–seeking greater meaning, purpose or fulfillment in your personal and/or professional life
–exploring how different traditions understand the human condition

I received my PhD in Philosophy from Fordham University, and Certification in Philosophical Counseling, in 2011. My intellectual training is in ethics, existentialism, and Buddhism. I help people reflect on the shape and direction of their lives by applying philosophical thinkers, themes, traditions, and techniques to live wisely, live well, and be clear about who they are, where they’re going, how to get there, and why to go there.
