Staff, dismissive; rude. Atrocious, customer service. Staff could not locate customer’s records; insisted, customer wait over 30 minutes under a false impression, issues pertaining to, 5 Hour Class would be resolved accordingly. Management speaks over customers upon attempts to address concerns & advises, «I have a meeting in Manhattan in 30 minutes.» as if any relevance to customer; has no genuine concern for customers circumstances; experience; satisfaction. For a quality experience, give your business elsewhere.

I’ve had 5 experiences with this school, so one star for each good one.
The three lessons that I’ve taken with autonautics have been good
1. The first instructor was good enough, she didn’t talk much but the lesson was fine
2. Adam was my instructor, he was great and did a practice driving test with me, tallying how many points I would’ve gotten on a real test. I was told he doesn’t work there anymore.
3. Just a couple Saturdays ago, I had a double lesson with Susan and she was so unbelievably helpful. One thing I really liked is that she had me parallel park on busy streets like 5^th avenue. most instructors save parallel parking for little quiet streets with no traffic which kinda leaves drivers unprepared for real world driving.
After that lesson with Susan though, I walked into the school to pay for my lesson and booked a double lesson for my boyfriend for the following Saturday. The employee who I spoke to wrote down his full name, phone number, and address and said that an instructor would call him to confirm the appointment and get additional information.
So, someone called him on Tuesday. the Tuesday 3 DAYS AFTER his lesson was scheduled for.
Luckily I didn’t pay in advance, a lesson I learned from them previously. I called one day to book a Sunday lesson. Because they said that their office would be closed on Sunday, they asked me to pay over the phone and promised me that a driver would call me to schedule the appointment. Never happened, I had to call back on the Monday to get a refund.

I wish I could give no stars. Awful driving school. My high school hired them for group lessons for juniors and seniors. I know of one person who passed their first time. Complete waste of $ 400. We definitely did not get the 20 hours of practice that our certificates claim, as our weekly lessons lasted about an hour to an hour and 15 minutes, split between four students. Those who drove «well» got about 10 minutes. Instructors barely spoke English and rode the dual brake so we never even had control over the car. Often arrived late for lessons. Go to any other school. Most people I know did, and passed the next time around.

i can’t comment on instruction, because after paying $ 450.00 for lessons they didn’t contact us. after i called to complain, an instructor called, but we got a refund because the front desk help was extremely rude.

My instructor was kind of annoying, but overall I got a lot out of the course.
