I always order the Sanzese Panini *but i always ask them to leave it cold. i know it’s weird, but i like cold cuts — -cold! and my fave — stuffed cherry peppers. This place and Lorimer Market remind me of home (Throggs Neck) Love!

Every time I come to the panini shoppe I HAVE to get the godfather. Whether it’s sweet or spicy. The godfather has to be one of the best sandwiches I’ve had at this shoppe and in the neighborhood

Amazing amazing amazing. Now that I’ve experienced it, I get the rave reviews! So I split a Healthilicious panini and the one with chicken cutlets, bacon & bbq sauce. They were both so delicious! The pesto on the Healthilicious one was insanity. I want to eat it on everything. I have only tried two different sandwiches here, but so far soooooo good!
Also, I have to note that the store itself is really clean & organized. They have so many awesome snack, dessert, beer etc options. All around happy and this is going to be one of my new spots!

Really awesome sandwich shop I used to order from when I worked in Williamsburg. They deliver quick and also the food is always hot. Big portion and tons of delicious ingredients stuffed into the panini’s and sandwiches.
Also recently ordered a breakfast sandwich here and it was nonetheless delicious! Great service and friendly neighborhood spot.

I’ve finally found a good grilled cheese in NYC! I’m a grilled cheese enthusiast and everywhere Ive been trying has just missed the mark. The grilled caprese sandwich with bacon was phenomenal! Also the delivery was extra speedy!

I have gone here now multiple times as I fell in love with these sandwiches as soon as I moved to Brooklyn. I have gotten the Y U Mad and FDNY and both are literally the best sandwiches I have ever gotten and extremely filling. The quality is always amazing and the customer service is great. I definitely recommend trying a sandwich here– you definitely will not regret it

There’s only 3 things to say:
1) FDNY Hero — with extra vodka side sauces to dip it in! Definitely the greatest sandwich ever created!
2) Breakfast Burrito — yep, bacon AND sausage AND potato!
3) Traditional Espresso — with a spoonful of sugar, it’s perfect with that breakfast burrito
The godfather isn’t bad either — with Graham Avenue Meats and Deli closed, it’s definitely the best Italian hero in the neighborhood.

It began as a curiosity.
With the sudden, unexpected demise of Graham Ave Meats & Deli, I found myself with a Godfather Hero-​shaped hole in my stomach. So I stepped into the comparatively-​sterile, glass and LCD-​paneled, well-​staffed and modern Anthony & Sons Panini Shoppe.
Oh, hey. The Godfather! Also the Baglivo Special, the FDNY, the Whyoumad and an incredible array of other sandwiches, salads, pastas, meats, cheeses, antipasto, fruit, chips, soda, beer, etc. Since I’ve started ordering here, they’ve actually expanded the back section to include even more deli dry goods. This has to be because of me. I just know it.
To echo other reviews, the delivery is lightning fast. Handy if you’re one of those people who only orders when they’re already starving. See you this weekend, Tony & Sons. Mille grazie!
PS. Gatorade & Advil special? It’s like they’re speaking to my soul.

Never been here in person, only ordered delivery. Delivery is stupid fast. I live a solid mile away and it is always here in 15 – 20 minutes piping hot.
The food is a little pricey but you pay for what you get. Their sandwiches are huge, made of fresh and tasty ingredients. The NYPD, the Y U MAD hero and their namesake’s Panini are all amazing. And did I say huge? A half is totally enough for lunch.
I will keep coming back. Solid, solid food and yet to be let down.

I’ve lived in Italy for the majority of my life. When I moved to BK and walked into Anthony’s, I was greeted with he same warmth and hospitality I had become accustomed to back home.
The generosity of this panini shoppe’s staff is eclipsed only by the size of their portions!

This place makes amazing sandwiches. My favorite is the chicken lettuce wrap. You will never go wrong with the godfather which is the most popular sandwich they have. They also have warm food. They make really good breakfast sandwiches.

Before my flight out of NYC, I decided to stop by this neighborhood deli to pick up a sandwich so I could have a nice meal before my boarding time instead of the meager choices they have at Laguardia airport.
I ordered a sandwich that my sister highly recommended the Healthilicious which had turkey, Swiss, arugula, pesto, avocado, balsamic on 7-​grain. It was a great sandwich and for $ 8 it was a very generous portion.
I’d return to try their hot pressed sandwiches next time.
No substitutions in their sandwiches — as clearly stated on the board.
Service was speedy and average.
There’s one counter to place your order and pick up your sandwich. The other counter near the front of the store to pay.
They deliver.

Ordered godfather sub & octopus «salad». Octopus salad was dry and overly oily. I don’t understand how they call this a salad as this contains no vegetables. I reheated it and added balsamic to make it edible.
Sub is fine. Nothing exceptional which I’ve known. For years. And years. I wish the spot down the block was still open.

Ordered through grubhub. No straw, no napkins, and didn’t have the change I needed. The food was also sub par. I ordered a breakfast sandwich panini style and it was just on bread. The Nutella shake everyone raves about wasn’t anything more than a chocolate shake.

Best delivery in the ‘Burg. Granted it takes around 40 minutes but the food is just amazing. I played it safe and ordered the meatball sub. Wow. The bread is so soft and fresh, the meatballs large and full of flavor and the fresh MOZZ that was on this sandwich was out of this world. The mozz on the sandwich deserves 5 stars alone. I could only imagine how spectacular it would taste if I made a caprese salad with it!
I also ordered cookies and a nutella milkshake as well because I have a sweet tooth that needed to be satiated. The cookies sucked — weren’t made in house but somewhere on Long Island. They were dry and burnt tasting :(The nutella milkshake is phenomenal though. Probably the best milkshake I’ve ever had in my life. I deducted one star for no straws! I guess they forgot. Will order again.

As far as a grab and go deli goes this is just about as good as it gets. The sandwiches have always been great. I tried the Paesano and the Godfather and they were both really good. Everything was fresh and I haven’t tried any of their Italian dishes but everything smelled great so look forward to doing so in the future.
The service is great and they are really fast at making the sandwiches. There really isn’t seating so this is pretty much a take out place but that’s ok with me. There is also a market so you can do some small groceries if needed. I come here and one other place for sandwiches every time in Brooklyn. I would defiantly recommend giving this place a try and come hungry.
