Just came from here ordered a extra large cheese and a grilled chicken salad. Amazing and I’m extremely picky about my pizza. Order was ready, hot and fresh when we picked it up. Great flavor and perfect amount of ingredients. The customer service was just as good as the pizza. The owner is beyond sweet and truly cares about his customers, and that is extremely important to me. Definitely have a new loyal customer over here!

I have only tried the pizza and calzones but they’re both amazing and I’m sure everything else is great too. Owner is very friendly and welcoming.

The best Italian food in the neighborhood so far. The owner (Joe) makes all his dishes homemade from scratch. You must try his pasta with alfredo sauce. This place is definitely a diamond considering the neighborhood its in.

I have tried going here twice, both during posted business hours, but they have not been open. Is this place out of business? Or does it have weird hours (not open Sunday)?

Best pizza in Brooklyn :-) my boyfriend and I get a pie at least 5 times a month. Ask the guy to put onions and peppers!!! You will never go back to regular pies. Love Angela’s pizzeria

Who wouldn’t love this place? Great pizza. Great prices. Great vibe. I use to go there everyday after school with my friends & we would buy cookies. They have the best cookies always soft & warm. Now that im older I still go in there time to time. They make such great pizza something with that sauce… Its the type of place you would walk on by & not really notice but trust me its worth a visit.

I’ve been living in the Cypress Hills/​ENY area my entire life but have never walked into this pizzeria; and I know ask myself, WHY?! I guess the answer is because I usually get my pizza a bit closer to home (6 – 7 blocks away). This is your quintessential, NY pizzeria at its absolute finest!
I stumbled into this place after a long day of holiday shopping. I figured since I was trying a new pizzeria, and I was starving, I would get their «special» pie with the works. I was greeted by the owner, a real sweetheart and I believe he is the son of the original owner, Angela. He was so polite, courteous and attentive when asked about the menu and when was told I’m a newbie to his place but a long time citizen of the area.
They do not deliver but that does not bother me as I am happily willing to drive to them and pick up their delicious pizza anytime! If you’re from the area or just passing through, please try their pizza. They offer other dishes as well that I will definitely try in the future. Their sweet sauce, fresh ingredients and amazing service will not disappoint you! Please try their homemade cookies!

My favorite pizza! I grew up in the area and whenever I go visit my mom I always stop by. There has never been a time when the service wasn’t excellent. The owner is a very nice and humble man and I know Ms. Angela would be proud. The crust and the sauce are everything. Can’t just have one slice!! Don’t forget your order of garlic knots too!

Anyone who is in a 15 mile radius (no exaggeration) should stop by this hidden gem. I’ve been going to Angela’s since Angela herself was making the pizza (RIP Angela). I grew up on the same block as the pizzeria and I still go back. The pizza is always fresh and their sauce is seasoned to perfection. Although their pizza is great, their lasagna is my favorite! This isn’t a fancy restaurant but it’s not your average pizzeria. Love this place and the owner Joe is a sweetheart!

I was born and raised 2 blocks away from the pizzeria. I still go back just to eat pizza. This pizza has not changed one bit. Best in Brooklyn, best in NYC, best in the world.

No joke this if the best pizza in Cypress Hills and it’s been owned by the same family for a very long time. Angela died a few years ago and her pizza sauce was amazing, her sons kept the recipe and they renovated the place. I’m surprised there aren’t more people here. If it were by the train it would be packed.

The pizza is pretty big for a large pie. Nice thin slices. However the sauce is a lil sweet. But decent pizza. An the owner is super sweet.

Place is decorated warm and nicely with a real sense of the owners tradtion. I think its named after his nonna (grandma). A flat screen is on the wall usually playing something customer’s would be interested in as opposed to most others who play something they want to watch. He has a nice fish tank with some exotic fish in it that he’ll gladly talk about if not too busy.
Owner is a complete gentleman and seems to be hardworking. He also makes a very good slice of pizza!
The only reason I would take a star off is I think the outside area might take away from enjoying your visit to Angela’s.
Not me of course, as I am high level black belt Kill Bill Kah-​rot-​tay!
All in all, it’s worth a stop at Angela’s!

Amazing pizza! One of the best, if not THE best I’ve ever had. The dough tastes so fresh and just tastes soo good. Not too much sauce, but enough to enjoy and just the right amount of cheese. This is New York pizza at its best!
My only complaint is that the place closes early. No late night pizza runs for us!
