I hired Amy to do my hair and make-​up for my wedding reception and literally could not have been happier! Before the big day — she encouraged me to send photos of different styles that I might like. What was even better was that she expertly took these styles and made them work for me! I have worked with hair and make up artists before and some of them just make you feel like you have to sit there and wait for the final look. Amy checked in with me through out the process to make sure that I was comfortable with everything. Not only is she skilled but she was so much fun to chat with while getting ready! The final look was great and I felt wonderful!
I will be recommending her to all my friends and will absolutely hire her again for upcoming events!

Amy did such an amazing job, making me look super fab before my big birthday bash! I received so many compliments from my friends and random strangers telling me how awesome my makeup looked! My makeup has not looked that perfect since my wedding day and that was almost 7 years ago! I have been to soooo many different makeup artists over the years and was never in love with my makeup, but she really understood what I wanted and did a beautiful job.
Before Amy came to my place we had discussed the type of look I was going for and my skin type. Recently my skin has been a hot mess due to stress and partially some late night partying and i told her that my skin does not do well with silicone or oil based makeup. She came to my place prepared and fully loaded with a ton of options and colors. The makeup she used on me was perfect! Even at the end of the night after I washed my makeup off, my skin was still glowing :)
I will def use Amy again and will recommend her to my family and friends.

I’ve used Amy for almost a dozen events now and she’s phenomenal. Aside from being exceedingly talented with hair and makeup she really takes the time to understand what the someone is looking for and helps explain what she’s doing and why she’s doing it.
I recommend Amy and her services to everyone I know who needs a makeup artist for personal use, weddings, or film/​commercial jobs and I will continue to use her whenever I can as well!

Amy is fantastic! She does our Headshot Events at my company where she does make up and hair for some of NYC’s top real estate agents. She does a great job every time. She’s great with people and very professional– giving each person the care and attention they deserve. She knows exactly what each person needs in order to enhance their features in the best way possible. I’d use her for any make up job i have in the future!

I was researching makeup artists for my wedding and stumbled upon Amy’s description on Unilocal.From the moment I reached out to her for information and pricing to the day of the wedding she was warm, easy to get information from and a joy to interact with.
I was unclear on the look I wanted at my trial run, but it proved super helpful to meet and have her create a look for me. From there I was able to decide what direction (color palette, intensity, etc.) I wanted to go in for the day of. She really listened and made me, my mom and sister look amazing on the day of.
I had to unexpectedly move hotel rooms midway through my makeup session on my wedding day and she was as cool as a cucumber despite the chaotic vibe.
She also gave great beauty advice and makeup tips to help me on my big day and afterward.
Amy rocks!

What can I say, Amy is spectacular! I emailed several makeup artists, and it was something about Amy’s response that made me decide to have a trial session with her. I am glad I followed my instincts, because she did an amazing job. She came to my home for the trial, and I immediately felt so comfortable with her. I feel in love with the transformation and I booked her for my wedding, no other trials needed!

Amy did my make up before a formal event and she was fantastic! She listened to what I wanted and did not want and the result was perfect. I highly recommend Amy for any event ! She is veryy talented and an awesome person!
