Allstate Insurance: Walter Wright

This is the worst agency ever. They do not respond to requests, and are basically too lazy or incompetent to provide any helpful information. Here are two quick examples:
1) I wanted to bundle my homeowners and auto policies. Walter is the agent for the home owners policy and GEICO is my auto. I called twice for an auto quote and never heard back. Finally I got Walter on the phone and told him what I was paying GEICO and he said he couldn’t match the offer but would get me a quote, he never did
2) There was a fire in the building next to us where my unit received smoke damage. I called to ask for advice on claims and was told I had a $ 500 deductible, which I already know. I wanted to have an assessor come out and see the damage and also I wanted advice on if what I claim will be rejected or not. The woman, Dian said that nobody in the office is trained as an adjuster/​assessor and they wouldn’t come out anyway unless it was some catastrophic loss. Also, she said she would have to call some other division at Allstate for information, still waiting to hear back from her.
They are completely incompetent avoid at all costs!

I called 3 days ago to get insurance on a rental studio I am using for creating artwork. It’s not commercial, but is a 15k investment in equipment. The man I spoke to, Walter W., was both rude and condescending once realizing i was not insuring some huge asset. After a snarky conversation he said I would get a quote sent to my email in a day or two. Nothing ever came.
I called a different Allstate location the next day and got to speak to someone very helpful. She provided everything I needed and also made it clear that I was completely misinformed by the previous agent. Big surprise.
