Alex Levin Music is focused primarily on jazz, cocktail, R&B, and swing music. Alex’s combos have had residencies at The Standard Hotel, The Hotel Plaza Athenee, Chez Oskar and other popular venues in New York City. His groups are fully insured and frequently travel to The Hamptons, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. In 2014, Prospect Park added Alex Levin Music to their presitgious list of «Vendors We Love.»

Established in 2014.

After years of performing at private events, weddings and clubs in and around New York City, jazz and swing pianist Alex Levin brought all of his projects together under the umbrella of Alex Levin Music, a Brooklyn-​based music agency. Whether you are looking for ambient cocktail piano music, a twinkling piano trio, or a swing band featuring ukulele, vocals, clarinet and trumpet, Alex can provide bands of distinction perfect for gatherings of all sizes. Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Alex Levin has been performing jazz in New York City for more than a decade. A native Philadelphian, he studied at The New School Jazz Program in the 90’s before graduating from Brown University and moving to Berlin. His quartet, The Living Room, performed throughout Europe. Alex returned to New York City in 2001 and quickly established himself as an in-​demand solo pianist and bandleader.

Over the course of the last decade, Alex has released a series of critically acclaimed CD’s, including Night and Distance, A Reason for Being Alone, New York Portraits, and, most recently, Refraction. With his trio in high demand in New York and the surrounding area, Alex continued to explore new sides of his musicianship. He established The Smoke Rings and Love, Charley, two vintage-​style swing bands, and The Lovesome, a vintage R&B group.
