I’ve lived here my entire life and I have known this restaurant since it was JJ Pizzeria. I would’ve given this place 5 stars a decade ago, but the quality has gone down in recent years. While they still serve pretty good pizza, the sauce recipe has changed. It used to be full, rich and flavorful, but now it is thinner and less robust. Their dishes suffer because of this change. Also, their extra cheese used to be EXTRACHEESE, but now not so much. The food is good, but not great, at least not anymore. I will say that they do stand behind their product. In all the years I have been frequenting their business, I have not had many complaints, but when I have they have made it right without the slightest grumble. I don’t order from them as much as I used to. Part of this is because I don’t enjoy it as much and part because I try to eat more healthy at home because I have a family with children now. All in all, for a neighborhood place, it’s good!

I’ve lived in the neighborhood all my life. The two brothers that own this spot bought out Brenda’s years ago. Since it’s the only spot in the area it has gained a bit of a following. The pizza is ok. Nothing to really praise about. The pastas are not good. Gotta be the sauce or something. I once ordered some stuffed shells and it was pure ricotta… Horrible. I enjoy the ones my wife makes at home. She should open a restaurant and make some Dominican, Italian, Mexican, and American infused cuisine… When I really want great Pizza I’ll go to Antonio’s on Flatbush or Origionals on Ralph… You’ve all been schooled to what pizza should be…

Good traditional pizza. Quick delivery. Decent price. Would not order the pasta dishes. The sauce seems too watery

Finally a REALLY great Italian restaurant has come to East Flatbush and they don’t just sell pizza!!! If you read one of my earlier reviews of Original Pizza in Georgetown, then please note that this A & V’s pizza knocks Original’s out of the water!!! I ordered take out– sicilian pie with pepperoni, meatball sub and a garden salad. The prices were really good $ 17 for a huge pie and $ 5 for a huge salad that came with a piping hot roll. The sub was $ 7. The delivery was prompt and the food(except the salad) was really hot. The pizza was DELICIOUS!!! Cheesy, loaded with pepperoni with a thick crust. I didnt eat the sub, but my husband’s reaction said it all. The deliveryman was really nice as was the man who took my order over the phone. Their menu indicates that you can get everything from pasta dishes, a variety of salads, subs and even calzones No more Dominoes or Papa John’s for us. We have now found a NEW take-out spot to get our Italian fix!!!

I’ve been coming to this family run business since I was a child, and their customer service hasn’t changed. Any time you come in you’re always greeted with a smile. The pizza is the best in this neighborhood, and there’s always people tucked in the booths enjoying a slice or two. I’ve never been disappointed by anything I’ve ordered, whether it’s a pepperoni slice, garlic knots, or chicken parm. When you come in you can definitely expect a good slice and know that you’ll leave satisfied.

Great pizza in the East Flatbush area! There diced tomatoe pizza with onions is delicious… I’ve tried the chicken roll, sausage & pepper sandwich, chicken parm sandwich, grilled chicken salad, and lasagna which is all tasteful. This place does not disappoint
