This is my local place and I always use their wash-and-fold service. The owners are super nice and I’ve never had any problems with my clothes, with the possible exception of one missing sock that was probably my fault anyway.

This is my local laundromat, and they only one that’s left since the only other option burned down somewhat mysteriously a few months ago. In any event, I’ve been going to this place for years! I am a DIY laundromat person, as I have had horrid experiences with other drop off services in the past. I’ve heard they do a good job at two-way, but can’t speak of that experience personally. I think this is an ok place to do laundry, but it could be cleaner, and the staff should tell customers not to eat food or put their dirty crap on top of the folding tables. On one occasion, this woman was there doing her laundry with her four crazy kids in tow. They were literally walking on the folding area, running into everyone, screaming, etc. I love kids, but I literally felt like my head would explode!!! I’m not sure what the staff could really do about that sort of issue, but they could have tried to do SOMETHING. Also, do not arrive here one second past 6pm(or whatever one hour before their closing time is) because they will not let you do your laundry even if you waited three weeks and lugged it there all by yourself and don’t know how you will get it back to your apt. Yep, I know I sound like a crotchety old lady, but even better service would be helpful. Still, I’m glad this laundromat is here, and the staff really is helpful and friendly most of the time. It’s worth a visit if you have some dirty socks and what-not to launder.

This place is clean, and it’s open at the hours you need it to be. They even match your socks! Which is super great on days when I’m like«damn, I should wear my maroon and blue striped socks» and I open my sock drawer and it’s all like BOOM here we are, together and ready to wear! The staff is friendly too, so friendly in fact that I don’t even care that the little plastic fastener that clips the draw string on my cotton laundry bag got melted against one of the dryers. Definitely would recommend. Oh and they’re not open on Tuesdays, which is random, but whatever.

This place is okay. Nothing spectacular. But it’s in a convenient location and it’s the only laundromat around for a few blocks. They have a small area that could seat maybe 6 people max. They also have a two small counters for folding. It’s impossible for those with a 9 – 5 job to do laundry during the week because it closes at 6pm. And it’s always super-crowded on the weekends, especially in the mornings. The trick is to do your laundry in the early afternoon, that way you don’t have to wait 15⁄20 minutes for a dryer. If you do decide to launder your clothes during the morning rush, have faith! The owners remove clothing from the machines as soon as it’s done so that other customers can get their clothes in quickly. The machines are coin operated only, but the owners always have a ton of quarters on hand to provide change.
