Solid location in Midwood that surprised me when it even existed. Tried their ice cream, too, which was fine. FYI this location is not on their Huledet list.

Good service because the staff is always nice and friendly. On the other hand the interior is very dirty and the froyo shouldn’t come out so melty.

Good yogurt in a clean place. I though there will be something out of this world here after reading the reviews, but they were ok. Do expect the best attitude by the people who work here. They will only do what they have to. For a yogurt place, I would expect them to have friendlier staff.
It is OK if you are in Midwood.

THIS SWEET PLACE CALLED HEAVEN! LOVE LOVE THEM! SO CLEAN, THE FRESH FRUIT IS FRESH! THEY ARE SO FRIENDLY AND THEY HAVE AMAZING FLAVORS! Whether it be new OR classic they always rotate flavors and ALWAYS add NEE flavors keeping everyone with a sweet tooth satisfied!
I especially love the rewards card!
I must add that they are a tiny bit expensive, they go by the weight of your order BUT SO WORTH IT!
I treat myself ALL year round! :)

Let’s just say the cashier was completely rude (Didn’t have a name tag on). She greeted the lady in front of me with a smile and politeness. When I got to her she started a convo on her cell phone, hung up and start texting I literally stood there for 15 seconds and counting with my card out for her to cash me out (I’m sure it was all caught on camera if they’re even working). She then takes the card with no apology or acknowledgement that she was just completely disrespectful to me.
They also have an A on the door for cleanliness and that place is far from it. Little kids had sample cups and were going back and forth trying new flavors with those same cups they put they’re tongues to. Just disgusting! The handles were sticky not to mention there were only about 6 flavors available. As I sat down after paying I noticed that the floors were nasty as were the seats. They definitely do not deserve to have an A and hopefully I don’t get sick from this place. Definitely will only be visiting the locations in the city from now on since they are very kind and actually have all 16 handles anyway.

ARRRGGGHHH! I have tried to order delivery from this place at least four times. Each time it’s either a) they only deliver Monday through Thursday after 5 pm (WHY?!) or b) we don’t have a delivery driver for xyz reason.
If you can’t actually deliver things, take yourself off Seamless! Stop tempting me with the promise of froyo and then taking it away! I’m surprised that Seamless hasn’t dropped y’all from the amount of account credits they have had to give me because each time I try to order, there is some mess up.

There is nothing special about this place. The yogurt is overrated. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good yogurt but just soo hyped.
I had the pomegranate flavor with fruit on top. I like how you can sample flavor a before buying.
I won’t go out my way to come here but definitely stop by in neighborhood.

There is no higher disappointment than leaving your abode to get some delish froyo, expecting an establishment to be open, and upon arrival it is not! Fix your hours of operation!

The place is nice but the people working there are nasty and rude. Definitely not kid friendly. I felt discriminated upon, not safe or an equal customer to other being served and charged. Never going back to this place again.

There frozen yogurt is very good my favorite is the peanut butter and the graham cracker flavor this place is good to go to in the summer time to enjoy a nice warm and cool desert with friends or with ur loved ones or just alone

Been here a few times and I believe they changed some of the flavors too! Great spot to come and relax after a school day. The workers there are very polite too.
But, I dislike how they put the taste cups inside and we have to ask for it. I understand some may just try it and leave but it’s a hassle to bother you guys just for this!

The frozen yogurt here is nothing memorable. If you’re a health conscious person, 16 Handles is the right place for you. They have lots of fruit based fro-​yo that’s also great for vegans (my friend was super hyped). You serve yourself here. Select your size cup in the back of the store and then slowly move your way towards the front of the store as you follow the «assembly line» of fro-​yo machines and toppings station. I opted for the super fruit acai something (it’s new) and the green apple something, I forgot it’s name, apologies. Anyways, I also added a bunch of fruits and chocolate m&m’s as my toppings. My total was about $ 6. It was a pleasant experience. The store is bright and colorful. I didn’t like the way the seats were arranged, it felt weird and i felt extremely claustrophobic. Be mindful: there are no tables! Ask about their rewards card! You’ll earn a point for every dollar spent!

When i first walked in i was greeted by many colors and an interesting set up of booths. There were many places to sit and it seems like a nice place to relax when its not flooded with children. The options were yummy looking. They even had non dairy options for those who are lactose intolerant but still want to enjoy frozen yogurt. I had mango because there was no strawberry but i enjoyed it all the same. Toppings are a must when it comes to frozen yogurt. I don’t think i saw cherries but i definitely saw sprinkles, frosted animal crackers, gummy bears, and hot fudge. It seems like toppings to appeal to kids. Overall it was a nice visit and i wouldn’t mind going back

Fun fro-​yo spot with whimsical colorful design — the green and orange semi private booths are a riotous idea that compliments the variety of flavors and toppings available. An enjoyable way to wind down the evening after a movie, 16 Handles is a winner.

Clean, taste good. Wish they had more fruit toppings instead of all candy. Especially strawberry

I love taking evening walks to 16 handles but their hours are so strange!
Instead of regular hours they post that it closes an hour before sundown.
They also close for Every single Jewish holiday, even the small ones that other places stay open for.

This is my second visit to 16 handles, and still feel the same lackluster as the first time, except this location is less crowded and a lot more seating
While I do love all the toppings this place has to offer, I am really here for the yogurt itself and most flavors I tried are lacking one or most of the characteristics (tangy, tart, sweet etc) I usually look for in frozen yogurt

Self service yogurt stores are the new craze in NYC. I’m a huge fan of the concept as it enhances your creativity towards your palates. Unfortunately 16 Handles losses 3 stars do to the chemically enhanced tastes you receive from their selection of yogurts. I am not a fan of tasting GMO type yogurts. I mean if you’re yogurts are already filled with crap ingredients, why not make your crap ingredients taste really good like fast food.
The place itself is very clean and there is a lot of room to sit down and enjoy your crappy yogurt. I just feel that the most important concept is to have a good quality food product to enjoy and it falls way down the charts in artificial taste.
I would investigate another yogurt joint to eat at since they are opening up quicker than Zumba dance studio’s.
