I get monthly refills so which pharmacy I choose is super important. This place is fantastic. They are my advocate, so I don’t need to be. They contact doctors for prescription refills and insurance issues, without my involvement. You know you have a good pharmacist when you basically don’t have to interact with them because they take care of everything. Ordering, delivery. New prescriptions. I was given a script for a very expensive antibiotic that my insurance didn’t cover. They took it upon themselves to see if the doctor would prescribe a similar medication. Once when my baggage was lost, they fedexed me my meds and arranged to have it picked up at airport and driven to my hotel. Best pharmacy ever had!

Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Ayman (the pharmacist) and the staff at Careland pharmacy. Dr. Ayman was very gentle and very patient and he answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with him taking care of my prescription, medication filling & any insurance problem. I would highly recommend this place. I’m incredibly grateful to the pharmacist and staff and will be going there from now on.

Holy ham sandwich! This place actually wants to make you better. My boyfriend has been having the most horrendous migraines. His insurance is simple catastrophic, no bells nor whistles. The cost for filling at Duane was $ 125 + $ 60 card. The pharmacists @Careland listened to the problem, called Duane, called our doctor, and filled for $ 37, in under 5 minutes.

The management here is terrible — do not by any means patronize this establishment. Amazingly, they keep contacting Unilocal and requesting that my negative review be taken down. Is that the kind of business you want to give your hard-​earned money to? I think not. Come on people… You can’t only have positive reviews!
I simply wanted to note that I live around the corner. I stopped by when they first opened and found the experience lacking. It also seems like an ill-​thought-​out-​plan. It looks very highly-​designed… Too much. Like they are trying to show a concept that may be used in other places — like a showroom for investors — not a place to shop.
We in the hood were so looking forward to a great new addition. This place is isn’t it… You could here the collective sigh when the signs went up, ‘oh nooooo… Not another pharmacy.‘
Who does that? There are SO MANY places close by. Don’t know what they were thinking…

Prescriptions were ready in a matter of minutes, now that’s efficiency! :)
I didn’t even have to bother to contact my physician for an authorization, Careland took care of it (lol) for me.

A friendly pharmacy (with a great modern look and feel to it, may I add) that has been willing to accomodate to many personal requests and preferences of mine, as well as other patients. I’m pleasantly surprised with the service and selection of products, including their stock of Weleda skincare products and my favorite Frederic Fekkai haircare. It should make a great addition to the Brooklyn Heights community!

My entire life I have only supported mom and pop’s pharmacies. Living in the neighborhood, for 10 years we seen plenty of places come and go, with the exception of pharmacies. The pharmacy inside is immaculate, gorgeous, and the products are well placed. its hard for me to support 1 more pharmacy, when for the last 6 years Demetri from city chemist has been taking care of my health. I do wish this new store good luck.
