At Dancesport Academy, we specialize in social and competitive ballroom, and Latin dance instruction through all levels and ages. We are a top-​notch studio for beginner to advanced dance lessons in the Boston area. Our instructors are passionate about dancing and fully dedicated to sharing the experience with others.

Our philosophy is to provide the highest quality dance and movement education to our students in a fun, comfortable and professional environment. We would like each and every one of our students to achieve their individual goals and accomplishments, while building confidence in their body, mind and soul. History

Established in 1998.

Dancesport Academy of New England first opened its doors in 1998. Saori and Marcio DeSouza’s desire to share their passion for dance with others led them to become teachers and owners of DANE.

Meet the Business Owner

Marcio and Saori D.

Business Owner

Marcio and Saori DeSouza have both loved dance from early on. Marcio, originally from Brazil has a background in ballet, while Saori, from Japan, focuses on jazz and international style standard and Latin.

Partnering up 4 years ago, they now perform and compete in American Smooth and American rhythm ballroom dancing.
