I would have given negative stars if I could have. Do NOT order from here if you want decent service! The food was good, BUT… I found this place online as I needed to place an order for an early lunch the following day. I placed my order the night before for 7 pizzas, a salad platter and a sandwich. I requested the time to be delivered as 11:30 am at a hotel 1.1 mi from this location. I had a business meeting and a set lunch hour. At 11am the day the food was to be delivered, I called to confirm they received everything and all was in order. I was told that it was. At 11:45 when the delivery was not at the hotel, I called. I was told that it would be there momentarily. At noon, STILL no delivery, I called again. At that time, I was told that I ordered the items from the Brookline store and that the driver had to drive further. # 1– Mapquest said it was 1.1 mi away; # 2– why was I not told that there would be a problem with a delayed delivery when i called to confirm at 11am? AT12:15, I called to find out where the food was. I was told that they would call the driver and ask him. No one called back. At 12:20, I called to find out what the driver had said. It was due to be there in a few minutes. It arrived at 12:30. ONEHOURLATE! The $ 55 salad came without tongs and we were offered 8 flimsy paper plates. EIGHT for 7 pizzas, a sandwich and a huge salad? Any idiot could imagine that there would be more than 8 people eating this food. I asked the driver if he could recharge my credit card and he could not. I not only paid full price(nearly $ 200), I had given the driver a very decent tip because I had to pre pay. when placing the order. Lunch hour had long passed for our meeting, this was a disaster. I gave feedback on the company website that night and requested that someone call me. I called again two more times and left messages. No one has bothered to call me. The web page says that this is a family-owned business. i find this hard to believe that they care so little about their livelihood. I would not have resorted to posting this if someone only had the decency to return my call.

This was the worst. The food was cold and soggy. Fries were chewy. My mouth is actually tired from attempting to chew these fries. Gross.

I have ordered from here multiple times and consistently they took over 1:30 to arrive. The food although good arrives cold and soggy. When you call to check on the order status the woman always states«oh they are on their way… they left already». Not true. After calling you still end up waiting over half an hour. My last order which was 2 salads took over 1:30. My coworkers and I have decided not to order from here anymore. Shame because their wraps are pretty good too.

Delivery times are absolutely ridiculous. Consistently takes at least 1:30 for food to arrive, if not more. Food is ALWAYS cold by the time it arrives. French fries were a truly awful mealy mess by the time the arrived. Roast beef sandwich might be good, but it also might be completely grey, ice cold, and dry.

The worst roast beef sandwich I have ever had. Roll was hard and stale. Beef was overcooked and grey. No flavor. Tasted like cardboard.

This is my new, go-to, pizza place to order from. Lots of cheese, right amount of crust.

Buffalo chicken calzone with extra blue cheese… Order it now, thank me later! Seriously though, I order from this place weekly. I can’t get enough!

This place changed ownership a lot in a short time but Brothers is welcome. Roast Beef brings back the taste of Kelly’s on Revere beach and the pizza always has enough cheese. Good price and quick service.

Meh. Food is inconsistent. Delivery takes forever. Ordering in takes even longer. 50% of the time they forget something in my order. I eat here because I have to not because I want to.

I ordered on line through Foodler. The last two times I have ordered food here has been very mediocre. Ordered a 3 pc chicken dinner tonight with steak fries and cole slaw. The chicken pieces were extremely small, very little meat, and I received a salad rather than cole slaw. Delivery service was good, however, I will think twice about ordering from them again. When they first opened a few years ago, the food was considerably better…

No. Ordered online, delivery was late. Steak tips were flavorless, except for salt, which was in no short supply. Salad dressing, on the other hand, didn’t make it to the party. Had to use my own napkins and dressing because really, who delivers those above-and-beyond extras anymore? Girl on the phone was pretty rude to boot. The second star is for decent steak fries.

Love this place. They make a mean chicken kabob as well as steak tip salad. Had a slice of their pizza the other day and it brought me back to that little shop in my hometown that knew how to reach that perfect balance between grease, cheese, and sauce. The people are really nice. I wish they had lamb. If you are reading this and work here please make some lamb. Please. The fifth star is in anticipation of the request when fulfilled.

Found this place through grubhub and it’s the only place I know so far around Brookline that has Steak Tip Salad and clam chowder! Both are so delicious! They have an awesome variety of salads. I have yet to try the subs and pizza! Never had a problem with delivery, the delivery man is always so nice. I once tipped the guy with a winning $ 5 scratch ticket(haha) Will be ordering from here more often!

During our time spent in Brookline curling, Brothers became not only a life saver for quick and decent food but a cult favorite of our team. We needed somewhere located close to The Country Club that could feed us without weighing us down for our games and they delivered in spades. The roast beef used on their sandwiches was lean and not too heavy at all. While the meat was under seasoned it had great real rare roast beef flavor and adding mustard and pickles balanced everything out. The bread used on both the sub and the sandwiches I had was solid and toasted properly to provide contrast between the tender beef and handle the toppings. The service was quick and friendly and the hours were conducive to most of our needs over the extended weekend. It is off the main drag of town and it doesn’t have a parking lot but the street parking was easy every time we stopped in. Roast beef power was ours and now I have a solid place to stop the next time I’m in town. Win!

Delivery took FOREVER. Placed my order through foodler and was promised my delivery would come in about 50 minutes. After an hour and 15 minutes, I called and was told that the delivery guy had left a little while ago and should be there in a minute. 15 minutes after that– a whole hour and a half after I placed my order for a cheese pizza and a soda– my food showed up. I live a 9 minute drive from the restaurant… Besides that, the pizza was mediocre. Not incredibly hot, cheese was chewy and stuck to the bottom of the box. For the price, I would potentially get it again(if I was going to pick it up myself) but probably won’t.

I had been to their sister location in Quincy when working in that area and was excited to find out they were coming to Brookline. Even more exciting would have been when I lived just steps away from this location! Worth the drive, walk, bike, T whatever to pick up a steak and cheese(plus onions) and be sure to ask for some teriyaki sauce. Delish!

This is a close spot for me to run and grab a sandwich. If you are looking for something healthy, keep on passing by. Their pizza and sandwiches are tasty, but greasy and oily. 3⁄5 stars because there is nothing wrong with this place, but it is nothing special. Sandwiches, pizza, sodas, OH, TVs for games.

I was looking for a pizza place that delivers to JP, and Brother’s got pretty awesome reviews, so I went for it. I ordered online(25% off your first order), which was a great concept especially for those ordering super-customized pizzas, down to a visual display of what toppings you want on which portion of the pizza. However, the tracker was broken, so I didn’t have money(or socially acceptable clothing) ready and waiting when the pizza arrived. All in all, we waited 34 minutes from the moment the order was placed to the time we got our food– not exactly«lighting fast,» but not an eternity to wait, either. The pizza itself was okay. The crust makes me think the owners haven’t chosen between thick and thin crust. Sauce was bland-ish, and there wasn’t a ton of it. The Greek salad, on the other hand, was amazing and definitely the highlight of dinner. The House dressing is perfectly tangy. If I ate them on a regular basis, I’d definitely make this my usual Greek salad place. There’s better pizza out there, Boston. But if you like awesome Greek salad as a topping to your mediocre pizza, Brother’s is your place!

This place makes some really great roast beef sandwiches. Thinly sliced, tender meat on perfectly toasted bread that will absolutely make your day, Brothers is an affordable and quality fast food shop. $ 11 gets you a «dinner» which includes a sandwich, a huge pile of fries and an equally huge salad. It’s honestly the most food I’ve ever been given from a Boston sub/pizza shop, and it is all very good. The fries are consistently over cooked, but that’s small potatoes. Highly recommended.
