Attention Massachusetts consumer protection agency, this company is the KING of the bait and switch. Get quoted one price and pay a higher price without being told. I do plan on submitting a letter to them to notify them of this practice, completely unacceptable.
Their customer service staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional and love to try to guilt you and make you feel like you should be honored to be their customer. Guess what, plenty of players in town and they can crush you like a ant. I was scolded by their customer service, my house was left a oily mess, and I was overcharged.
STAY AWAY at all costs.

Custom sculpture needed with a bottle holder or luge built in? Sure, they make em!
and ICE… Holy good god and everything that is holy; Don’t buy the 5lbs of I’ve from Susie’s corner store, no way! These guys do it right with 30lb bags perfectly matched with the right amount of ice to ice your ½ barrel keg of brew ha. And at perfectly priced at $ 6!

How about the round ice ballz for sipping drinks? They have those too!!! Because– who doesn’t like drinking expensive booze with amaze balls spheres of ice in your glass???
My experience; I have used Brookline countless times and recently for a party that was a huge hit.
When I want to stick out in a great way, I ONLY use Brookline. The drive from NH is worth the trip each and every time.
Recommendation:
Call and ask for Adrianna Signore, it’s a family business and she def wants to see your shin dig a huge success.

Buyer beware! The delivery driver was over 45 minutes late to our event. They also added a hidden $ 10 delivery fee to our order without disclosing it. They are also extremely rude on the phone. Horrid customer service and bad business practices.

I like to smoke my own meats and this is a great place for wood chips. Brookline Ice sells a wide variety of woods like cherry, hickory, apple, oak, mesquite and more. Unlike supermarket wood chips, these chips only need an hour soaking and have more flavor in them.

The ice luge was so much better than I could have expected! Best money I spent on the wedding for sure! Thank you!!!

My one stop shopping for dry ice, styrofoam cooler, and the way to get the food down to NYC.
Oh, I use them to get ice cream from Boston to all my relatives that crave our great local desserts.
It never fails to be a hit.
Some portion of a block of dry ice, and they have a variety of cooler sizes to make it all work.

You know when you throw a house jam and you’ve got everything planned: the theme (Furry Frenzy!), the food (CATfish poboys, hot DOGs and MONKEY bread), the beverages (a specialty cocktail called Anonymous Intercourse with Costumed Strangers) and the guest list (private).
Then someone calls and asks, «Need anything?»
It dawns on you: «Ice!»
It’s always the thing you need, and nobody gets it to you faster and cheaper than these guys. Snow for shave ice? They have it. 30lb bags in a collapsible corrugated cardboard cooler? Sure. Last minute ice luge?

For small scale events, whatever — grab a bag from whatever’s close. But if you’re swinging a heavy guest list, call them up and set your clock to their delivery estimate. Unlike Comcast, sketchy pizza and your kid’s due date, they are always on time.

God I love this place!!! Lisa, the girl that answers the phone is the nicest person ever first of all. This company is just top notch-​all the services that they offer are the best. They really took care of us at a time of need, and they deserve all the business they can get-​great business!!!

They have a great selection of stuff that I need for my smoker and BBQ grill. I just got 2 bags of charcoal, some smoking wood-​chips and a propane fill up. That’s one stop shopping for all of my smoking and grilling goodies.
The propane fill-​ups are usually what brings me in. They are one of the only places (in the metro Boston area) that actually fills the tanks instead of exchanging them. And they’ll fill them up until 11pm on Saturday and 6pm Sundays (I swear I’ve been there later) which shamefully, I’ve needed a couple times. Get a second tank and keep it filled. It’s just much easier.
I’ve also bought bundles of firewood from them in the colder months when my woodpile was depleted. No, it’s not the most cost-​efficient way to buy firewood but it beats buying Duraflame «logs,» at 7 – 11.
I’ve never bought any ice from them other than an ice-​luge for a New Year’s party which was the hit of the event. I understand they have every variety of frozen water you can imagine but I’ve just never needed that much of it at any time to make it worth going there.
So if you want to heat it up or cool it down, they are the people to see.

Perhaps you know, maybe you don’t…but for a living, I plan parties. Big ones. Fun ones. Filled with booze. And what keeps booze cold?

Ice for 400 people, ice for 600 people… ice that keeps on coming even when you didn’t order enough! That’s right. I, um, miscounted the number of the people times the number of cocktails… times, um… well that’s a lot of math and there was a ton of Canton, Svedka, Maker’s, Ice Wine, Beer and gosh knows how many people! Mid-​party, Mojito in hand, a very calm call was placed to Brookline Ice and within a half hour, we were restocked, reloaded and read to roll.
And no one was the wiser. Until now.
I pledge my eternal event-​planner allegiance to Brookline Ice.

This place is the stuff of legends. When I needed an ice luge for a 65 person company party they came through for me.
40 bucks for the luge and 25 dollars for the «kit». I would not suggest the kit if it is just you and some friends in someones backyard but it is a necessity indoors or at a work event.
The guys on the loading dock were nice enough to add 5 pounds of dry ice to the luge to help keep it frozen for the two hours it sat in our office before the party.
If I had to do it again I would have picked up the luge only moments before.
The ice luge was the hit of the party and was everyone’s favorite thing to do.

5 stars, im biased, they are the best, what can i say. so these peeps can do it all, you need mesquite for the smoker, done, lump coal, done, ice luge, done, ice carvings, double done, ice punch bowl, yup you guessed it people.
here is another tip, if you want anything done for the holidays, order that now, they are off the chain this time of year.

Four stars for the huge money-​saving bags of ice, 5^th for the availability of pre-​cut booze luges and dry ice.
I walked in here, bought a luge, (2) 30 lb bags of ice for our kegs, and a keg crate/​barrel, all for around $ 85 (luge costs about $ 68 of that). Two of my gay brethren were in line ahead of me buying 100 lbs of dry ice. I asked if they were throwing a rager, and they said, no it’d just be them tonight. Interesting. All I could imagine was their fab apartment with several misting/​smoking buckets placed strategically throughout. I was considering dry ice, but I didn’t want to have to call the ambulance when some donkey inevitably gets 4^th degree burns or have to clean up various objects that were frozen and subsequently shattered.
We had also considered getting an ice sculpture of our roommate Nick. He subscribes to Mens Health and looks in the mirror a lot, so it would have been funny to be able to pour booze into his head and have people drinking it out of his wang. But this would have cost probably $ 500.
So, get yerself a luge, it’s quite a spectacle to watch adults dump mixed shots down a slope of ice using a small saucepan. Luckily I was pre-​occupied with spinning records, keeping the peace, and dancin with mah lady, so was able to avoid the pain of ripping too many shots.
Get one for your next box social. Especially if your crib has a roofdeck and/​or porch. Warm weather optional.

But, if you’re having a huge party, you’ll realize what a delight this place is when you buy a ginormous bag of ice for a fraction of what you’d pay at 7 – 11. Molly G. covered the ice luge thing, which should make this place a haven for college kids, but there’s never a line or anything when you go to pick up your large quantities of ice (or like 5lbs). My friends and I go CRAZY for Halloween and got dry ice from here a few times. You can buy a little or a lot, they package it up for you and put it in your car if you’re getting a whole lot. It’s a total bargain and it’s kind of fun to go to their little industrial loading dock-​looking establishment. Plus, I kind of love how old timey it feels to go to an ice & coal seller.

when i felt myself a PitMaster every spring i’d make a trip to Brookline Ice and Coal for 20 bags or lump charcoal and 200#‘s of various chunk hardwood and then be all set for the entire summer. well, almost.
the point is that they always had everything i needed and would get me in and out of the loading dock in very short order.
