Small World Children’s Dentistry

I recently brought by son in for his routine check up and it was spectacular! The front staff is very friendly as well as the helpers we had this time and in the past. They explain everything in kid terms and perfectly so that I understand tricks for keeping his teeth healthy! This was his 3^rd visit and he’s almost 2. He cried the first time, understandably, but he had reason since he was in pain for something we went in a little earlier than planned for. Dr. Rick is the best pediatric dentist around!!! I’ve heard the stories and I will be coming here until my son is too old. I read other reviews and I think some people are a little silly. Chill out people, they are doing the best they can and can’t bend over backwards to make sure they know how YOUR insurance works. They are a small business and I know how much work that is. Also, obviously if my son were to have a cavity I would want it fixed asap but I understand how there is a shortage of good pediatric dentists in the area so of course they will be booked out a bit! Just take care of your kids teeth and you should have less stress in the dental field! All in all best dental office in Wisconsin and shame on anyone for saying otherwise!

The kiddos had another great visit at small world. The staff were very attentive and took great care of the girls. I love the fact the my kids actually like going to the dentist as I remember being a kid and I hated going ! I only wish they saw grown ups I would be happy if I could come here too!

I recently moved the the milwaukee area from Chicago and needed to find a dentist for my children. I was excited to see they had a pediatric dentist not too far from where i moved to. During my first experience there I was not happy with Dr. Ricardo Araujo, DDS at all. He was cold, rough on my child and not very informative. I did not want to bring my children back there. My son had an emergency extraction that had to be done and I was forced to return there. This time I met with the other Doctor whose first name is Eileen. She was great with my son and I was happy to make her my childrens dentist. To make a long story short, I did let her know of my previous experience and how I would like her to work on my children and it was fine with her. I just received a letter in the mail from Dr. Ricardo Araujo stating that his practice no longer wants to treat my children. So he kicked me out of the office just because I was not happy with his services and wanted the other doctor to service us. What kind of place is that? I would not recommend taking your kids to him, he is a BAD dentist plus he seems to be the type of person that tells you there are more things wrong in their mouth than there actually is.

I was so impressed from the first call in making the appointment for my 2 children to the time we left our appointment. The doctor and staff were wonderful in explaining to my children each step of their visit. WE WILL BE BACK!
