It’s Pick N Save so the prices are high(as always). But this store seems to have great customer service. There’s always ample registers open, courteous deli employees, and helpful floor staff. It’s one of my favorite Pick N Saves. Not saying much but for what it’s worth…

Came in on a Tuesday evening with no express check out & I only had two items. They remove the self checkout when they remodeled which is stupid. So I just left the two items behind since I’m not going to wait behind other customers who clearly have 15+ items. Remodeling isn’t going to bring in more customers or better service because of Meijers opening up less than 10 minutes away.

Beware of the fresh fish dept. I bought what was advertised as fresh bluegill fillets on sat and on Sunday when I un wrapped them I was hit in the nose with a rancid smell. The fish looked gray in color and made me want to throw up. I called the store manager and he said he would gladly give me a refund and that’s what I did. When I went to the customer service desk I asked the man to smell this package of fish and he agreed it was not right and gave me a refund. How could the fish dept not smell or see that the fish was bad and sell it to me anyway, I don’t understand.

This Pick’n Save is one of their older model stores both in store layout and merchandise selection. Store is in need of a remodel and updating and is a bit dingy and in some places unkempt. Store is smaller so it has fewer SKU’s than most Pick’n Saves. Produce area is decent but they have it layed out so you have to walk down a long aisle to get to something 5 feet away. If you are looking for a better store drive a few miles down the road to Sendik’s or V Richards

Tried to have me arrested! I used to shop here all the time since they are(were?) open 24 hours. One night I came here with some coworkers after our shift ended around 3am. As we walked past the liquor department, some alarm went off, which was a bit jarring, but we ignored it and continued. I decided I didn’t need any groceries, so I left the store and brought my car up to the front so they could load up when they were done. As I was waiting I saw a Pick’n Save employee walk outside and glance at my car before going inside. A few minutes later, THREE squad cars surrounded my vehicle and I was treated very poorly and threateningly by the police officers. One of them gestured as if he was going to draw his firearm. Gotta love the Brookfield fire department. I was eventually led into the vestibule by a few officers and was berated for having been«caught on camera» allegedly stealing wine, which was patently absurd. I asked to see the video, and was told«no». I asked if the officer had seen the video, and was told to shut up before I was arrested for obstruction of justice. The other officer even threatened, «I saw a backpack in your car… if I search it, am I going to find any pot in there?» Eventually I got a few different stories: 1) I was seen on camera stealing wine and giving it to someone else as they left 2) Someone else was caught stealing wine and allowed to leave Clearly the security staffed at this Pick’n Save that night was utterly incompetent. I received a visit and apology from the seargent of that police department. However after YEARS of pestering Roundy’s, who owns Pick’n Save and Copps and some other stores, I have never gotten so much as a «We’re sorry». I instead had several referrals to several different unhelpful parties. I have not once shopped at any Roundy’s store since this incident, nor will I ever. I will NOT tolerate a store calling the police on its own customers for false reasons.
