Brookfield Coin & Card has been in business since 1986.

Owner and founder, Phil Jones has been fascinated with coins since he was 8 years old.

He grew up on a dairy farm in Ridgefield where his father hired workers over the summer to help with the farm. One of these hired men gave Phil a tobacco can filled with old coins. This was the beginning of a lifelong hobby and passion turned into a profession.

Phil worked part time coins shows and flea markets from 1986 – 2003. In 2003 he opened Brookfield Coin full time at its current storefront location.

Because of Phil’s expertise, honesty, and vast knowledge of numismatics he has been sought out to appraise collections for estate settlements and insurance purposes.
