Must have gone to the place on the wrong Friday night. Other reviews rave about«attentive bartenders,» and that was true of the one who did not close. Unfortunately, she left earlier, and I was stuck with the other ding-bat. She was more focused on the horn-dog sniffing around to get some action than she was on all of the other customers. Had to wait, while she and Romeo played grab-ass, in the corner near the pool table, to close out my tab. Even after asking to close out, she brought a tab, but apparently forgot that my credit card was sitting behind the bar. Not much I could do with it while she went back to hand holding and giggling, at the other end of the bar, with her latest prospect. Had to walk down to ask her to actually give my card back, with a receipt to fill out. The 2 stars are for the nice, clean establishment, the tasty wings, and for the bartender who left before closing time. Jeebus, it was like being served by a sophomore at Trailer Park High School. Hire some grown ups, and I’ll be back.

We got the bacon bbq and the Thai chili wings. Both were so flavorful and different from other wing sauces we’ve had. We also got an order of onion rings which came in a pleasantly large serving. Don’t get them for just yourself. It’s like 25 onion rings. The service was great too! The wing prices are a little higher than most places but I thought their sauces were worth it. Also they said they have wing specials on Tuesdays when it’s much cheaper. Plenty of TVs everywhere to watch sports.

Awesome wings, that’s all I got there and the sauce was great. It’s kinda dumb they can’t split the sauce order with you because they charge you separately for 6, if you ask for 2 sauces where obviously getting a order of 12 is cheaper than 2, 6 wings order. But oh well. Nice small place.

Great food, but not so great service. I went with my girlfriend on Friday night to try this place out for the first time. It was around 7pm when we got there and we took an open table across from the bar. It took around 10 minutes before we were greeted. The server walked past us once while getting something for another table, but any server should at least acknowledge the table and say they’ll be right back. We got a round of drinks and ordered food at the same time. The wings were really good, big size for the price and good sauce. Here’s the kicker though. I ordered a dozen but with half and half between two sauces, but when I got my bill she charged me for two half dozens which was about $ 1.50 more than one full dozen. Not once did she mention that would be the case, not did the menu say you can’t split sauces. I had the fish fry which was really good! The breaking wasn’t overly greasy like some places serve and you got a good amount for a really low price as well(I think it was around $ 8.50). Overall it was a good experience food wise, but the service and the fact when I asked the server about charging me for half dozens she had an «oh well» attitude was a turn off. I’ll come back sometime in the future but hopefully the service will be better.

I held an after hours event and the staff was so helpful before and during the event. Food was awesome, wings especially, and the waitstaff was always there to refill drinks or clear out the food mess. Great little spot that you can host a group and have a nice time. I will be back!

The Legend Larry Wing sauces are amazing. Some of the best wings I’ve ever had. The one thing I wish they would do is rearrange the dining area and get rid of the big bulky tables. They could fit about 4 more tables if they utilized their space a bit better. It can be hard to find a place to sit at times.

Extremely disappointing. Ordered some wings with a friend and they brought them out one at a time and told us share until the rest were ready. Our wing orders came out in 15 minute intervals. When we said something to the bartender he was rude and said what are you in a rush. Not even thinking that we might want to eat together and not have the rude attitude. There are so many better bars and better places for wings why waste your time and money to go there.

Actually found this place on Unilocal after Champp’s was annoyingly packed for the Wisconsin/Kentucky Semi-Final game. It was a nice little find and easy to get to from the all the hype and trendiness of Brookfield has to offer. It is somewhat of a small place a few table tops of 4 or more but mostly the bar and 2 tops. But for when weather permits, they do have a nice outdoor patio. They have a full bar and even had a 3 Floyd’s Beer — Alpha King on tap. TVs are everywhere and viewable from any seat in the bar. They have a good size menu for the size of the place. Apps — mozzarella sticks, breaded shrimp, chicken strips, fried pickles, fries, onion rings, mac & cheese bits. Main — burgers(½ to 1⁄3 lbs), wraps, patty melts, reubens, steak sandwich, pork chop sandwich, and their own signature sandwiches. The also have wings ½ dozen, dozen, 50 wings, &100 wings with a variety of flavors — plain to DOA. The prices are reasonable and for Brookfield it is a bargain. I got the hot wings. They were crispy and hot but to the point it still had flavor with some heat. Some pretty dang good wings. My friends had the Reuben with onion rings and the burger with american and bacon with fries(crinkle cut) and both were very pleased with their choices. I had a taste of the Reuben and it was just as good as any place I have in the Milwaukee Metro area. The service is top notch. Even though the place was packed for the game, the bartenders were attentive to each patron that I noticed and food came out at reasonable pace. Oh I did ask about their fish fry. The bartender did admit it isn’t fresh fish that is fried but it suppose to be good. I will definitely be back to try… maybe after lent or Lent 2015.

Bougey’s is a local bar; not very big, but still nice looking for a bar. Has a pool table, dart board and multiple TVs. Food is amazing. The wings are awesome. Lots of sauce and decent sized. Buffalo chicken wrap is grilled for an extra crunch and you get huge slices of tomatoes, lettuce and creamy blue cheese. If you like deep fried pickles… Get them. A large portion and delicious. Onion rings covered in a buttery batter. Homemade old fashioneds hit the spot. Some of the best bar food with friendly staff.

We had a great time at Bougey’s — the food was great and the service was excellent. Our bartender/waitress was hilarious and did a wonderful job. She had a great sense of humor and had us all rolling.

The review will focus on the Wings. Here at Bougey’s they serve Legend Larry’s Sauces. If you are familiar withe the brand and looking for something similar then look no further. I don’t remember what brought me here but it was a decent experience. Something to consider if you have never been here before. It’s a bar that serves food. If you were thinking of bringing kids that would probably not be advised. One thing you’ll notice is that this bar is rather clean. There is plenty of space to move around. Seating being at the bar itself or the tables strewn about. Service here is decent. I was surprised however that the bartender wasn’t chatting me up while i waited for my order(I was at the bar) but I didn’t mind listening in exaggerated tall tales expounded upon by patrons that have had their fill. It was almost like a Tom Waits song. The order took a while. I had the Medium at the recommendation of the bartender and also the Spicy Garlic. Neither were all that spicy. In fact they were rather similar. Nothing to really write home about. The size of the wings was average. I hear about Bougey’s fairly frequently. Perhaps the subtle advertising of the radio I am tuning out is mentioning them. Perhaps a word of mouth suggestion from someone I am tuning out is mentioning them. Perhaps it’s mind control tactics. Either way something brought me here and I really feel no reason to go back. I will though to try some other sauces one day and then I will update this review to reflect that. It’s going to be tough because I know I can get better elsewhere. The experience is perfectly average.

I loved just about everything about the couple hours I spent at Bougey’s. The bar was open and large enough to support a very large crowd, and there was a very sizable crowd, and a relatively young one for being a bar in the suburbs. The drink prices were OK, not cheap, not too bad. The bar itself had a cool shape and plenty of tenders to help out. Bathrooms were large, clean and conveniently located, no one seemed out of control by any means. I went there after a Brookfield Battalion game, which probably helped with the younger crowd, but it made for a great night as the bar’s only a couple miles from where the Battalion play. Pool table, dart boads, nice juke box and a slew of HD TVs gave the bar everything it needed. Looking forward to going back again next year.
