With two locations serving Inwood and the Kingsbridge/​Riverdale section of the Bronx and with more than a decade of unparalleled service, Warriors Taekwondo continues to be part of the fabric of this wonderfully diverse community, instilling the highest standards of sportsmanship to its students through the study of martial arts and competitive tournament engagement. We are lead by Master Raj Rajput, a Former World & International Champion and International Olympic qualifier. Master Rajput and his team of dedicated professionals have developed one of the most successful martial arts academies in New York State producing several state and national level competitors and champions.

History

Established in 2001.

Warriors Taekwondo was founded by Master Raj Rajput in 2001 to provide TKD training to the Riverdale community. The school has recently expanded into Inwood.

The core mission of our academy is to provide students with the highest quality martial arts instruction available and to do so in a safe, motivating and positive learning environment that individuals of all ages can enjoy. The academy looks to instill the highest standards of integrity, honesty and sportsmanship through the study of martial arts. Our teaching curriculum consists primarily of Olympic Style Taekwondo, Kick Boxing and Weapons training. Our training philosophy is based on two concepts, «a positive mental attitude» and «high goal setting.» All of our teaching is conducted by Black-​Belt level instructors who have exceptional coaching, teaching, motivational and leadership skills.
