Meet the Business Owner
Thomas D.
Business Owner
I was educated in the Bronx by nuns and priests, then graduated from Pace law school in 1981 and admitted to practice law in 1982. I was a independent title closer representing numerous title insurance companies at real estate closings even before I got into law school. As a result, I was able to earn some income from title closings both during and after law school. Until 2008, real estate law was the bulk of my practice representing sellers, buyers, lenders and title companies. Then after the Government bail out, consumer bankruptcy became the bulk of my practice representing consumers only (I will never go over to the dark side to represent creditors) in chapter 7 and 13. I have developed a foreclosure defense and also a student loan relief practice as well since the bail out. I make wills and represent estates in Surrogate court probate and administration proceedings. Residential home-owners who wish to evict a tenant and gain possession of the apartment hire me to do so.
