My favorite pizza in the Bronx, and I’ve eaten a lot(too much?) of pizza in the Bronx. I don’t bother with the specialty pizzas, just a good old plain pie.

Emilio’s would’ve received 4 stars from me as their penne vodka was pretty good, but after a few mishaps Im chopping this number in half as it relates to one of the issues I have. Yes, its a plus that you can order online, and that you deliver to my neighborhood as many places don’t. The bread that you gave me for my penne vodka was stale. It actually resembled more of a croûton than a piece of bread. Your prices are fucked up. Expensive to begin with, but when I called to order a half chicken vodka half tomato fresh mozzarella it got a bit absurd. If both of these pie’s are normally 25 bucks, then why would half of one and half of the other add another 6 dollars to the price. 31 dollars for a fucking pizza? I think not. Then, you proceeded to get an attitude with my on the phone because either the Einstein kids that you cater to are used to this treatment, or you don’t know how to add. You gave up 50 dollars in business over 6. Will not return no matter how good the vodka sauce is.

A few days ago i stop by here and i order a margarita slice and a chicken ranch slice it was ok not the best i had but not the worst either the dough was a little to thick for my liking on the margarita, but the ranch slice was good, but did not see what was famous about it maybe next time if I’m around there again

I placed my order 2÷22÷2016 at 7:30pm. The delivery guy came at 8:30pm. He first calls to say they dont come upstairs. My husband was already downstairs when the delivery arrived. Just so happens the elevators where not in service. My husband had $ 100 bill on him only and the delivery guy refused to take it. When the food came out to over $ 50. He expected him to walk up 8 flights of stairs since we live on the 8th floor and get change and then walk back down. I called the store and the mexican guy said he would call his boss. He never called back. So i called and then they didnt answer and keep in mind they close at 9pm. So i called from another number and they answer to say they cant accept $ 100 bill. Will never order from these people. Now we are left starving wasting over an hour and a half waiting on them and nothing else is open to deliver.

I love the food here, the regular pizza, the specialty pizza, the chicken empanadas, the grilled chicken in vodka sauce, the brocolli rabe is sauteed to perfection, I can go on and on about the food. Another plus is Emilio himself. What a nice and pleasant guy!!! Yes, I am a fan of the amazing Emilio’s Pizzeria. I ordered delivery for lunch today and was surprised when the Famous Emilio delivered it himself! Love that guy!!!

For $ 4.50, I get a FAT slice of pizza and one of their own black cherry sodas. Both delicious and both worth the stop. If I went to high school around here, I’d have been a regular.

Classic New York pizza and some must try empanadas! Prices are fair and perhaps some of the best shrimp parmigiana in the area.

Emilio’s on morris park before it was bought was my favorite pizza spot so when I found them on eastchester road I was so happy however I was so disappointed! The price they told me on the phone was different from what the delivery guy told me when he got here and the pizza was highly disappointing!

I may be a bit biased because this is my local pizza spot, but I love this place. The pizza is really good, and they have good customer service. They have really good empanadas here also, definitely worth checking out.

Best pizza in the Bronx! As previous posts suggested, it IS the same owner as Emilio’s on Morris Park… he sold it a while ago and opened this spot last year. As at his previous location, Emilio caters to his customers and treats them like family. Can’t say the same about other businesses in the area. Food is always fresh and never takes too long to be served. Would definitely recommend!

Finding this spot helped lighten a tough situation having to visit Calvary Hospital. The Margarita Pizza is the best I’ve had in the Bronx so far. If you’re on this side of town, this is worth a try.

The owner, Emilio, is the original owner of Emilio’s Pizzeria on Hone Avenue and Morris Park Avenue. I was driving on Eastchester Road one day and decided to stop in and I am so glad that I did!!! I am happy Emilio opened this new pizzeria. I have had the wood burning oven pizza, the pasta, fried calamari, salads, etc. Everything is really, really good. My favorite pizzas are the wood burning oven margherita and prosciutto and arugula. The other pizzas I highly recommend are Buffalo Chicken and Chicken, Bacon, Ranch — OMG — so good. Friendly and fast service!

Their chicken vodka pizza is the best specialty slice on the menu. Very delicious and filling after one slice. Good considering the slices are ~4.50. I went there today and got a slice of the margherita which was very mediocre, not very filling since it didn’t have much parmesan and two leaves of basil, but was still a specialty slice so it cost 4.50, which I thought was a total ripoff. My recommendation, don’t get a specialty slice unless it’s the chicken vodka.

The cheese pizza alone was excellent and their grilled Caesar chicken salad. I’m looking forward to try the rest of the menu.

I was excited when this place opened up because there aren’t many food options near Jacobi Medical Center, but this place let me down. Pretty good vodka slices, but the regular pizza is just that, regular. Pros: decent pizza, not crowded, decent lunch specials Cons: not open for a late night snack, overpriced, not as good as the Morris Park Ave. location

I’ve only tried their chicken parm from this location and I just found it to be OK. Nothing special jumped out at me to love it. Thick bread crumbed chicken cutlets, sauce didn’t have much taste and it’s plain untoasted Italian bread without the seeds. Maybe I’ll feel better about the pizza.

This is a review on their delivery service only– not recommended. Unfortunately, unlike its tasty pizzas– the delivery is very slow. Took over 90 minutes and a Repeat phone call to deliver 3 blocks away at 5pm. Original Promise time was also high at 45 minutes.

There is a different Emilio’s down Morris Park Ave. and if I understand the story correctly, the owner of this place was the original Emilio’s, after selling his pizza place. Guess he’s back! I’ve gone here twice so far and the dough is similar. Portion sizes are good if you’re not trying to stuff your face, while others aim for 1−½ slices. My favorite is a slice of chicken vodka, followed by chicken tomato. Each slice price varies, about $ 4 – 5. It’s almost always fresh unless you show up later in the evening. Almost never a wait either. Solid spot for a slice of pizza in the Bronx. Enjoy!

Welcome back to the Bronx Emilio! For those that have been around this neighborhood and love Pizza, Emilio’s on Morris Park Ave. has been a Staple for a long time. About a year ago, Emilio sold the business. While the place is still very good, it isn’t quite the same. I heard then that Emilio came back, opening this new place on Eastchester Road, and I was excited! I live in CT now, but stopped in on my way back from LGA airport. I ordered cavatelli and a chicken dish topped with mozzarella and prosciutto. Both were fantastic. While I waited, I ordered a plain slice, which took me back to my childhood. Only the best of ingredients. He also now has wood fired pizza, but have not yet tried it. I am currently writing this review from the airport and will once again hit Emilio’s on the way back. It is now a requirement from my wife. :). Welcome back Emilio, we missed you.

It’s good! I would say even better than the Emilio’s on Morris Park. The rice balls were delicious and well seasoned(the last couple times I got the rice ball at Emilio’s on Morris Park, they seemed kind of bland, and never heated through) and the white pizza was so good! I ordered through grubhub for delivery, and there was a slight issue, but The Famous Emilio’s Pizza handled it well and can’t be happier with the service! Will most definitely go again!
