I had the Chicken Taco and I think it made me a better person. Changed my life! Amazing!

One of the best restaurants in the neighborhood is, in fact, a truck. While most Mexican places in the city offer various permutations of the same ingredients, at Tacos El Bronco II, there is only one item on the menu: tacos. While I suspect this is largely due to limited space, this level of focus allows the truck to crank out fantastic tacos at alarming speeds. While I’m yet to try a bad taco or even a merely«good» taco, I’d say their best taco is their taco al pastor, defined by its perfect harmony of spicy pork and finely diced fresh pineapple. One thing to note is that their tacos neither come with sour cream nor cheese. While this might be initially disconcerting, after trying their tacos, you’ll realize that these are all too often used by lesser taco joints to mask their flavorless meats and tired vegetables.

Great Tacos all around. Tacos are about $ 1.50 each and come with a sauce of your choice and a grilled onion. I take everyone who loves tacos to this place. Delicious! Plus they have great Mexican soda. Must try!

So I decided to try these tacos because there is always a crowd of people standing around the truck either eating or ordering. I decided to order the chicken tacos. I had asked for some sour cream(crema) on the side and was surprised to know that they didn’t carry any. When I finally opened up my food I was shocked to see how TINY the tacos were. They were incredibly small for the price that they were.($ 1.75 each) In conclusion, I will not be ordering again. Although the tacos weren’t too bad they’re not the best I’ve ever had. They were extremely small & they did not come with sour cream on this side.

If you travel along White Plains Road just south of Pelham Parkway, you’ll discover a truck serving delicious tacos of varied meats. From enchiladas to chicken, they have it. Small, delicious tacos served with cilantro, onions, sauces, and radishes… Nice. $ 1.75 each, a bargain for the fresh and delicious food.

Finally some authentic tacos in town! Tried almost everything on the menu and I recommend the al pastor and the enchilada. Those are the best ones!!! The service is a bit slow, but the food is seriously worth the wait!!!

When you want a good taco, this truck is it! They are small, delicious tacos with a lot of cilantro and onions and flavor. I usually don’t diverge from chicken or steak, but they have a whole list of meat to choose from that’s definitely authentic Mexican cuisine – al pastor, lengua and chorizo to name a few. They even deliver, promptly and efficiently. If you’re in the area, def check them out!

So I was walking around looking for this place like it was an actual restaurant. I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t look up the address. But let me tell you these were literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. The carnitas are my favorite and their red hot sauce is out of this world. A place you have got to try if you are in the Bronx

Ohhhhnommergard! This place is so delicious. Each bite of these juicy and savory tacos just wrap around your soul and take you on a wonderful journey. Anyone living around this area should really give it a try. Squeeze some lime and drizzle some salsa verde on it and you’ll ask where’d they all go after 10 minutes.

$ 1.75 per taco, any taco. I buy tacos religiously for Taco Tuesdays with my husband. Yes, it’s a truck. Yes, language barrier exists if you want to say anything more than the taco order. The ingredients are fresh every single time, and I consistently get 9+ tacos with each taco given generous filling. I really like that there’s no cheese or sour cream or any other fattening dairy is added. It’s just chopped onions, cilantro, meat on 2 layers of small corn tortillas. Their green sauce packs heat but seriously tasty. Their red sauce makes me cry and cough uncontrollably and strangely goes really well with old fries(truck does NOT sell fries). They add the grilled mini green onions into my orders and I like them. I’ve tried the sausage, fried pork, beef, and chicken, and I think they’re about 250 Calories per taco according to MyFitnessPal. We can’t wait for Tuesdays thanks to these guys!

What is there to say really? The best way to describe this taco truck is «Diamond In The Rough». Authenticity and simplicity is key here. No frills with these tacos. Well seasoned, healthy portions of meat paired w/cilantro, onions and radish/cucumber for garnish. In my opinion these tacos can’t be beat. Enchilada, Beef, Chicken are my favs in that order… and the chorizo is great when you’re not counting calories. I eat here maybe 4x’s a month. Great service and good food.

Love their tacos. They are quick, cheap and tasty. Nothing like some nice tacos with onion, cilantro and lime when you’re hungry, but don’t wanna eat junk. These guys are excellent. Best tacos around.

So I’ve passed by this taco truck countless times and never gave it a second look until I came across their Unilocal page and saw how awesome the reviews were. Well, this evening, rather than passing it by as usual, I decided to stop and try their al pastor tacos, and I’m woman enough to admit I’m absolutely ashamed of myself for never paying attention before. Omg. Those tacos were ON. POINT. The pork was tender and full of flavor, and I love how they put lots of cilantro on top. There was a good amount of pineapple, too, which was great because I’ve had some so-called«al pastor» tacos that barely had pineapple flavor much less actual pineapples. And that grilled onion? Really nice touch. But the icing on the cake was that each taco was only $ 1.75. Too many mediocre taco places in this city charge twice as much for tacos that are half as good. I’m very satisfied and beyond impressed. This is definitely my new go-to spot for cheap, delicious tacos!

Love love love this place. I’m a very big fan of Mexican food, however the least expensive one from a truck is by far the best tacos I’ve ever had. They always have a line of people waiting and all they sell is tacos . At one point I had to take a real from buying tacos because I wanna gonna become one lol. Staff is very polite and they work really fast and hard . Also the green sauce they have for the tacos is spicy but awesome if u like spicy!

I swear, Planet Fitness is running a scam on people. They lure you in with $ 10/month(or $ 20/month for universal access) fees, but then locate themselves around great food spots. So you work out, gorge yourself, and stay basically the same… so you never drop your PF membership. Tacos El Bronco II is that food spot by this particular Planet Fitness that will eventually be my excuse for working out in this area. I got in on good word from a 100% pure-blooded Mexican that these tacos are authentic. Ok, that’s BS — but she’s the most Mexican white person in the world, ever, so she has to be right. In any case, I come out of the gym and there it is: the Tacos El Bronco II Food Truck. She told me her favorites are Al Pastor and Chorizo and, knowing my tastes, that I should also try their Carnitas taco. I ordered them to go(about a 25 minute ride back to Queens), so they weren’t just-made… But they were damn good! Al Pastor is pork and has bits of pineapple in it too, and that makes for a very good combination. Chorizo — sausage — was my second favorite. Carnitas(also pork) would have been good if I hadn’t already had Al Pastor, but since I knew what that one tasted like, I’ll likely skip this one next time. Oh, and that grilled onion? Mmmmmmm I tried all the tacos plain and then with the salsa and guacamole(both of which have a bit of a kick), and then again with the jalapeño peppers. My preference is to have the sauces and sometimes the peppers as well but, based on what I read in other people’s reviews, it probably just comes down to personal preferences. I will definitely be back to this food truck. But first let me pretend I was in the area to work out…
