DONOT buy cakes here! I bought one for my daughter’s third birthday party; drove all the way to Tribeca to the party playspace only to cut into a MOLDFILLED cake!!! Had to snatch the plates from a room full of 3 – 5 year olds before they could take a bite! I was HORRIFIED and LIVID! I called the bakery and the woman who answered asked me if I wanted to pick up another cake. Are you kidding me?! I told her I was driving the cake back and wanted my money. I arrived at the bakery and she immediately handed me my money back trying to get rid of me in front of the other customers. Received a half-hearted apology and told that they accidentally sold me a cake the previous owner had left in the fridge!!! Unbelievable! What business owner takes over a bakery and continues selling the old owner’s baked goods! THEN she had the audacity to tell me that if I had ordered the cake in advance, she could have made it fresh! To which I replied, that you can walk into any good bakery and purchase a fresh cake at any time of day, any day of the week! I was left angry, embarrassed and completely disgusted! Would give it 0 stars if I could!

I give this restaurant a zero star. They claim that their cakes are Dominican when in fact they are not and they taste terrible. I bought bread pudding 3 days ago and ask for a Dominican cake and both was nasty I had to throw it away. Call led to let them know that the cake u got was not Dominican and the person told me that everyone love their Dominican cake and that I must be the only one that doesnt. I am Dominican and I been eating Dominican cake for more than 30 years I would know the difference and their cakes are not. Don’t go there…

Morning ritual in a unknown terrain has my travels taken me to DABRONX! Rosarina is a Spanish bakery serving Marble Hill and the server has very limited English language skills. In scanning the glass encasement of the various baked goodies, which is like a box of chocolates as you don’t know what you’re going to get, I opt for a simple chocolate donut $ 1.00. Low and behold I ended up with a stale sugar, bland donut. Yuck!
