Well, I am fully disgusted enough to write a review, this place needs to have the health department pay them a visit and shut them down.(I called and reported them myself today) This is the 3rd time I have come in here and there has been a dog in there, but today was the most disgusting, the dog was lifted over the sneeze guard and the cook was petting him allowing the food underneath to be covered in doghair! I am very allergic to dogs and that would have sent me into the hospital for sure. Do not go to this place because they do not care about safety and hygiene.

Typical Arab deli/bodega for all your needs. I got a ham and cheese sandwich and it hit the spot. The sandwich was fresh and was done in 2 mins 4 seconds. $ 4 for a big ass sandwich? Sign me up.

o. o Peter, I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll for only $ 2! Maybe I misheard him? But he didn’t chase me out of the store… that’s odd… Anyway, I love this deli. There are few greater pleasures than the flavor of a Bronx bodega bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. I remember my high school days, always envious of the people who bought them daily. I started buying them to fit in. Peer pressure, kids, has lots of cholesterol. So the other day, I decided to revisit those days and ordered my old staple. Service was friendly, including mildly flirtatious small talk, which is always fine. I really appreciate how the sandwich makers(still waiting for a fancy name for them) wear gloves while they cook. The flavor of the sandwich was unusually notable. The pepper tasted freshly cracked, and the bacon had the most delicious, smoky taste. The texture of the egg was perfect, and it melded nicely with the melty, gooey cheese. Stop here on your way to work/school/Disneyland.

Here’s a Greek deli. No idea to pronounce. A real bodega. Forget Dunkin Donuts( ). Instead of the microwaved egg and sausage sandwiches, I go here for breakfast sandwiches now. Ladies and gentlemen, I wish to present the world of Peghe math. It’s quite odd, like the math problems on the GMAT exam. Bacon and egg on a roll is $ 2. Bacon, egg and cheese on a on a roll is $ 3. How much is bacon and egg on a hero? If you guessed $ 4.50, you would be correct. I don’t understand the pricing because it does not scale(i.e. if I got 2 sandwiches on a roll, I would net more egg and bacon…) However, this place has beer and malt liquor unlike the popular Pelham Bay Mini Market( ). In addition, nowhere else could you find yourself a pineapple flavored soda[1]. This is not the ghetto, but I can close my eyes and pretend[2] while I wait for the guys to make my breakfast sandwich. The workers here are nice and this bodega is open all the time. [1] I’ve never tried it and I never will. [2] Yes it’s crazy, who the hell pretends to live in the ghetto? Everyone wants to be in the East side, with George and Weezy. IFHTP3+
