New Superior Car Service

Ugh, don’t bother with these guys based on my experience last week:
* No show driver even though I made a reservation three hours ahead of pick up time… Waited 25 minutes while I played phone tag with dispatch and the driver.
* Rude, unclear dispatchers who cut you off and hang up on you.
* Displayed license and driver permits were over six months expired.
* Dirty, ghetto car without heat on (in February).
* While I had clarified on the phone the cost for the ride ($ 55) and that the fee would include $ 7.50 for tolls (I initiated that question), the DRIVER told me only once I asked that the added fee is actually $ 15.00 because the rider has to cover the cost for tolls for the driver on the way back from JFK because «we aren’t guaranteed customers coming from JFK». What the???
The two saving graces for this company, which I won’t use again, unless desperate:
* The driver agreed I should only have to pay $ 7.50 for the tolls, since I wasn’t told ahead of time it would actually be $ 15, and charged me accordingly, bringing my total to $ 62.50 (though he seemed confused when I gave him «only» $ 65 in cash for the whole debacle).
* The driver was a nice, decent guy.

Awful, I called asking for a car service to take me to the nearby hospital. After leaving me on hold for ten minutes, the dispatched returned to tell me «we’re not making any rounds» and then hung up before I could even ask any questions. Rude and unprofessional — will never call again.

Great service. I usually take the M60 bus to LGA but I had to catch a red eye flight. The dispatcher was courteous. $ 40 + one-​way toll for the fare from the South Bronx. The driver was on time and seemed nice. I will definitely use this service again.

Dispatchers are always friendly and attentive. and I can usually get a cab quickly unless its raining or snowing and all of a sudden no one can take public transportation.

I indicated twice to the dispatcher that I was going to Williamsburg. And they confirmed the same price, twice.
When I got into the car, I gave the address and said «in Williamsburg, you can take the Williamsburg Bridge.»
He drove me to the Chinatown/​LES border.
After giving the address another 5 times, writing it down and then giving him turn-​by-​turn directions, I finally arrive. He then attempted to charge me an extra $ 10 and called it a favor for driving me to Brooklyn.
Don’t bother with them if you intend go to other boroughs or want to pay more than a yellow cab.
