Angelo is the best. I think this is the only pizza in morris park that is still made by an actual Italian guy. And he isn’t ripping off his customers by charging $ 3.50 for a slice of pizza like Captain’s pizza. A slice of pizza and a soda should not cost $ 7. Lol. Not to mention, the pizza is actually good. It isn’t a greasy blob. I usually dab off some grease with other pizza, not here. Been eating Angelo’s pizza for like 20 years now. One of the few businesses that I enjoy giving money. Not to mention he is a sweet man and a gentleman. He appreciates his customers and takes pride in his product.

Best pizza and price on morris park currently. Can’t forget the late bird special either calzones, pepperoni rolls, Sicilians all for a a $ 1 each can’t beat that. Deserves to be looked at at least once

I’ve been going to this pizza place for years. The slices are huge, Angelo and his staff are friendly and good people. The slices could use a little more cheese for my personal taste but that has never stopped me from going and getting stuffed. This is a great neighborhood pizza place. Old time social spot, you want to know what’s going on in the neighborhood? Go here! They chat you up like you’ve been best friends for ages.

So my work buddy took us here because he can’t stop raving about the size of the pizza at this hole-in-the-wall neighborhood pizza joint. Slices here are HUGE! You can’t appreciate that fact until you actually see and eat a slice. Here it is by the numbers: Your normal 16″ pie(pffft) = pi(get it?) x 8×8 = 201 sq in Morris Park 20″ pie = pi x 10×10 = 314 sq in (Didn’t think you can learn some math here on Unilocal, didja?) That’s 56% larger than your average Domino’s large and at a reasonable $ 2.50 a slice(1⁄8 slices; 360°/ 8 = 45°), you’ll be lucky to put away 2 of these in your stomach. Despite the humongo slice size, the crust is still decently thick enough that you’re still able to eat it NY style(folded along the bisecting radial axis, whosaiddat?). Surprisingly, all the cheese doesn’t slide off. No eating with fork & knife a la De Blasio here. Taste is pretty good if you get it straight out of the oven. Reheated slices are just meh. So bring some buddies, order up a fresh baked wagon wheel and get stuffed.

Huge slices, excellent(and cheap) calzones, quality is pretty good but the value makes up for any shortcomings. Angelo hooks it up all over MPP, you can tell he loves his customers and everything in here is a good value. 10 garlic knots for $ 1 all day every day and they’re damn good too. Stop by after 9 and anything in the display case(include calzones if you’re on time) is $ 1.

The pizzas are huge here. They can compete with the size of the pizza at Cross Bronx Pizza and Ljubo Pizzeria. They are thin, slightly crispy and good. They offer pasta dishes also. I tried the lasagna and it was full of water and tasted horrible, it lacked flavor of any kind. They use the same seasoning on all their meat products which make everything taste like their calzones.
