This place is average inconsiderate bouncers long line waits in 20 degree weather come on there’s a bullet hole in the window for god sakes i was on the line to get in and someone pointed it out to me mind you people also eat here its a «café» smh. there a cover charge for a café really suppose lounge been to other places in nyc never a cover charge overall this place caters to a certain crowd and if your looking for a worried free mature environment to get wasted this place is not it too much of a «hood: spot late night i guess it was the night i was invited maybe it was the fact it being 18 and over as well

Celebrated my Birthday here on 1÷26÷13. It was AWESOME. Music was Great, crowd was nice with a cool vibe. Staff was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely come here on a regular. The prices were good. everybody in my group had a Blast. I was hesitant at first because I really haven’t partied much in the Bronx. It was definitely worth it.

So it depends what you’re coming here for. Upon entering for a poetry event I was stopped and searched at the door in what seemed to be standard procedure. The event itself was packed with good performances with a higly interactive and lively crowd; a plus of course, dare i say more real and certainly on par with Manhattan spoken word events(again this was for one event). And drinks? well… it’s unfortunate when drinks in some places are a sign of status isn’t it? Once the event was over however the venue turned into a night club. So again… your experience will depend on what exactly you’re attending

This is a cool place for day time events or parties. The owner rents out the space for many different types of events. On certain nights of the week they get semi-busy with locals for some dancing and drinking. They have flat screens for any sports events playing. The bar deco is stylish with lit up glass panels and over 30 feet of space to stand at the bar. This is a place for birthdays or just a night out with your friends. Just make sure you are aware of what parties are going on, they have a gay night during the week. I think a firefighter owns this place, so that’s pretty cool and I don’t mind spending money here to support em!
