Liffy Bar

I was up in the Bronx to visit my friend who attends Mount Saint Vincent. After a night of recovering from jet lag and post jet lag partying he assured me tonight we would go out to a bar where all the local college students go.
One power hour later and a relatively short cab ride we stumbled up to Liffys. There is no wow factor about the outside or interior about this place, but what makes it such a wonderful place to go is the fact that everyone knows each other, so you don’t have to waste time getting acquainted with new people.
The drinks are reasonably priced for a bar that is located in New York City. I also enjoyed their music selection which is mostly consisted of top 40. Plus, the fact that no one is shy on the dance floor. Not like in California, where people have to wait around till its deemed the right time to dance.
I loved the community feel of this bar I wish I could take it back to California, but I’ll just have to wait till my next visit to the Bronx.
