The slice of pizza I judge all others against. It’s been there as long as I can remember and it’s still the same, the quintessential corner of the block pizzeria. I mean, I grew up with this stuff, but it feels like the right amount and kind of sauce and cheese, with a crust that’s the perfect amount of crispy. It ain’t too greasy, the sauce ain’t too sweet. I’m sure there’s a few better slices in New York, but this one tastes like my childhood. Put a touch of garlic powder on it and you’re set.

I was dying to try the beef patty with cheese and pepperoni. But I after seeing the guy handling money pizza the mozzarella cheese with his dirty hand I change my mind. If you decided to eat at this place please make sure the employees washes their hands first.

Personally, the regular slice from Golden Pizza exceeds a slice from Rays Pizza on all levels! The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect and the breading and crust itself is a fine mixture of soft and crispy. The taste is DELISH! I highly recommend this spot when you’re craving a slice of so yummy pizza.

Best Pizza place in the Bronx! I have been attending this place for 20 years and it’s still my go to place whenever I want authentic pizza. I believe it’s a family owned business. It’s a small place. It’s not big enough to sit and eat if you are with a large group of people. I actually like that it’s rustic and they basically have the same décor for as long as I can remember. I live on the other side of the Bronx and when I want pizza, I travel to this place.

I’m a bonafide fan of Golden Pizza. I stopped in on a cold Friday evening, and got a 14 inch pie with half extra cheese, for $ 7,($ 1 for half extra toppings, $ 2 for a whole). I was told my pie would take about 10 minutes to prepare, and it did. It was made fresh. I watched it, as it was made. It was amazing. Service was friendly. You can either order at the window on the 138th street side of Brook Ave, or walk in. My pizza was still piping hot when I returned home. Highly recommended.

This pizza place is one of the best around. I work not too far from here and so thankful to have this pizza place. The owners are so sweet and know what we want everytime we enter. Their menu is really small, regular pizza, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and extra cheese. Beef patties and some drinks and italian icies are their main menu. The prices are cheap and the food is great, what else can you ask for!

Now this is a true NYC pizza joint. You can grab a HUGE slice or order a pizza. They make it to order so you won’t be getting a pizza that’s been waiting around to dry out. Small hole in the wall spot. Prices are cheap. Pretty dang good. Especially when you’re starving and you’ve been moving allllllllll day!
