Golden Eagle II Coffee Shop

I came here for lunch (to-​go) today, and I must say that I was surprised. From the outside, this place looks very small (like an in-​and-​out coffee shop). However upon entering, I was met with a semi-​spacious diner. «Quaint» would be the word to describe it. I sat at the counter, ordered my food, and waited. One thing I noticed was that it was clean. There were no signs of disarray, dirt, smell, or messiness. The food (a cheeseburger deluxe) took less than 10 minutes to prepare. My small interaction with the staff was warm and friendly. Very attentive. The burger was delicious. It was still hot by the time I walked back to work. I haven’t had a nice meal at work like that in a while. I’m definitely going there again.

I honestly don’t know what I ate here but it had steak and it was one of the most tender juiciest steaks I’ve ever had in my life! It was simply cooked to perfection it was the right cut! It was rested well! Simply delicious!
Service was good the waitress seemed like she was a teenager who didn’t really want to be there so was a bit distracted but was definitely nice and attentive!
**4stars because my fries tasted like fish and I don’t know if maybe they only use one frier, in which case I’m glad I’m not allergic**

Got the BLT for $ 4.25. Healthy meal for a good price!
I also came back to get the steak fajita. It was filling but I miss my fajitas in CA! The steak was a bit dry and having one piece of tortilla on the bottom was a bit too soggy for me. I liked the overload of cheese, though!

This smaller version of the larger kahuna is a pretty straightforward bargain. Their omlette deals run approximately $ 7, which includes hashbrowns, toast, coffee, and a 4 oz juice. The bathroom is clean, and right next to the griddle, so you can «inspect» the cleanliness of the operation before you get on with your greasy self. Seems to be popular for take-​out & pick-​up too.

A very under rated diner/​coffee shop on Morris Park. Everyone tends to go to the other Golden Eagle a bit further down Morris Park, but trust me, there is nothing wrong with this one.
GE 2, is extremely clean and the food literally comes out 5 minutes after its ordered. They offer diner food as well as some Mexican fare (burritos, quesadillas etc.) which is a plus.
The staff is friendly and they get the job done.
