I bought a wedding gown that had been a showroom sample. It needed some love before my big day. Winzer cleaned my super delicate 100% silk wedding gown perfectly. Before I came to Winzer I had several high-​end cleaners refuse my gown because it was just too delicate and required a good deal of hand pressing. I was trying to stay away from the couture gown cleaners in Manhattan like Madame Paulette’s knowing that they where going to charge me as much or more then what the dress was worth!
While Winzer wasn’t cheap — I could live with the price knowing that they would do an exceptional job and THEY DID.
I cant believe I am taking the time to review a dry cleaner, but I genuinely had a hard time finding one I could trust for my wedding dress — trying to help out a fellow bride who maybe in the same boat.

I’m surprised there is only review of this outstanding place. They will pick up and drop off for free in Manhattan, so if you have clothes you care about, there’s no reason not to use them.
Summary: WInzer Cleaners saved my wedding suit even after I stained it with grease, let someone else dry clean it, and then let it sit in a closet for 6 months. Great, friendly customer service too.
Details:
Winzer Cleaners saved the suit I wore when I got married. Not being cautious, I stained the lapel before I even got to the ceremony. Pretty sure it was a grease stain. Afterwards, I reluctantly took the suit to a different very well-​regarded dry cleaner in midtown Manhattan. («Reluctantly» because of a service issue I had with them in the past, but they are often described as the best in the city and I thought they were the ones who could get the stain out.) This other cleaner did not get the stain out. Dejected, I let the suit hang in a closet for nearly 6 months.
Then, feeling optimistic one day, I searched for a higher-​end dry cleaner in the city. I found Winzer. I found that they clean items for Broadway, so I figured they would be good on a 6-​month-​old stain on a nice suit. The one other review on Unilocal confirmed this possibility.
I called and a friendly woman answered the phone. I explained the situation, slightly obscuring some details (out of embarrassment! I felt like I was lying to my doctor). She said she could pick up *at my office* the next day. (The previous cleaner does not pick up from or deliver to offices.) She said the driver would arrive between 9 AM and 9:30.
The next morning was one of the first major snowstorms of the season. Traffic downtown and road conditions were a mess. YET — unbelievably — the driver arrived at my office at 9.03 AM. I was stunned. Very friendly guy. He took my jacket, gave me some paperwork and a free 2014 calendar, and off he went.
A day later, the nice lady called me back: «If we’re going to clean your jacket, we should clean your pants so the colors don’t get accidentally mismatched.» I had no idea. (I was thinking they’d spot clean.) The next day, the driver picked up my pants.
Four days later, the suit was back in my hands and THE STAIN WAS GONE.
Winzer Cleaners took a grease stain out of a fine fabric after it had already been dry cleaned by someone else and sat in a closet for 6 months.
I am impressed by their good customer service and their skill. Based on the fact there are only two reviews on Unilocal,I infer they are not getting enough consumer business from Manhattan. I recommend them strongly.

If it’s something you really care about and it got a bad stain or was damaged by salt on the street, this is The Place to call. Who cares if they’re in the Bronx, they pick up and deliver. They’re good enough to clean the costumes for the New York City Ballet and Broadways shows, they’re good enough for you.
This is truly the cleaners for the cognoscenti.
