Food is delicious and reasonably priced. The owner George is professional and staff is very friendly. I place a order for my family almost once a week and we are never disappointed. At times order may take a bit longer to arrive however I always try to order in advance to ensure it arrives in time. Definitely worth the wait.

I can’t review the food because it never got to me. I ordered my food via Seamless at 4:36. I was emailed that my food would arrive between 5:05 & 5:15. At 5:35 I called Country Bay Pizza asking when the food was to arrive. I was told rather rudely that my order came through Grub Hub after 5:00 & it was going to be 45 minutes after receiving my order. Mind you I have a Seamless email notification with the time I placed my order. I called Seamless at 6:00 & they said sent a text saying it would arrive at 6:45 & I asked them to cancel. It shouldn’t take 2 hours for an order less than 10 minutes away in Co-​op City. The driver called at 6:21 & said he was in traffic. Customers in Co-​op City must not be important to Country Bay Pizza. If you keep up that kind of poor service you won’t have any customers with Seamless.

I recently discovered Country Bay near my workplace and very happy that I did ! I have now ordered my lunch from there many times and have never been disappointed. I’ve tried a variety of menu items so far … from pizza to sandwiches to calzones to soup and all have been great. Their prices are reasonable and the staff very friendly… say hello to Mary :)

Checking out the pizza at the new Country Bay Pizzeria that took the place of Casablanca on Ampere Avenue. «George» the owner worked for years at one of our favorites Louis Seafood Restaurant on Tremont in the kitchen.
I’m not going to write a full review since we just tried a regular cheese pizza, but the pizza was good. I’ve had better, and I’ve had worse. The crust was good but was a tad over floured, the sauce was good and the cheese was nice and chewy and flavorful.
They have your basic Pizzeria menu with a large assortment of soups, paninis, pasta dishes, apps, hot heros, entrees and of course some specialty pizzas.
I really need to go in and try a few more things before I write a serious review. But since they are just starting out I will give them a generous 4 stars that may go up or down depending on our next trip there!

Country Bay Pizza, in the Country Club area of the Bronx is a LITTLE Pizza Restaurant with BIG flavor. The food is 5 Star quality… Don’t miss the ‘Specials” they offer and the prices are reasonable. You would pay 50% to 100% more in any Italian restaurant, and not get the variety or quality.
