City View Diner

This is your typical dinner. They have everything you want and need. My usual eggs over well with whole wheat toast please! And my usual cup of coffee. They have a large breakfast and lunch selections. Fast and good service. Friendly wait staff.

I use to live 2 blocks away from this diner til last week when I moved but I really enjoy this diner, the food here is good and the specials are great. There’s a lot of food variety and if you ever go here and meet this waitress that’s kinda old, short, Hispanic and super spunky then you’re in luck because shes great and I love her lol
* open early — close early (5pm ish?)
* closed Sundays
* kids eat free on Saturdays

I used to frequent this diner as a child with my mother when it was called Fun City. Now about 14 years later I feel it’s not the same. Of course since those visits were in my younger days I can’t recall what the prices were like but I do remember the food. It was always the place to go for breakfast.
As I said above I don’t know what the former prices were but I honestly feel they hit people over the head with what they charge. Perhaps that’s why they have so many specials. I don’t know… just a thought. I believe a small oatmeal is $ 1.75 and to add strawberries the total is nearly $ 4/​$ 5. May seem reasonable to some but I don’t think it’s worth it especially when I can walk a few stores down to Sheridan Market and get the same thing WITH walnuts for about $ 2/​$ 3.
