Close to home and they have great specials every week. Not the best organization but they are very well stocked so I can not complain. It’s like the traditional Hispanic supermarket really. They carry many things but they push out avocados, mangos, plantains, rice and Mazola oil at you first when you enter the store. The deli is good and they have their spanish meals available as well. Some plates are even better then the Dominican restaurant across the street. Employees at least smile and the manager is very attentive and helpful.

An ok C-Town. The guys who check your bag in the beginning are nice and efficient. It can take a second to retrieve your bag when you’re leaving. But it’s not the best set up for them to see who’s waiting to pick up their belongings. They do their best. Tight aisles, as in almost every grocery store in NYC. Decent produce. Small selection of butter options. Good prices on dish detergent. Decent circular sales. Some VERY yummy stock people and baggers!!! Decently efficient cashiers. Managers who not only go to check the price listed on the shelf when you have a pricing error, but will bring you another option if you were reading signs incorrectly, just to ensure that you get the price you were expecting! And there’s a Coinstar machine, which is quite handy.

Ok, so I’ve been working in this area of the bronx for about 2 months, and really didnt enjoy the food choices around. And I’ve found a savior in this C-Town Supermarket. They have a deli with hot food, like chicken, rice, beans, veggies, etc and they also make sandwiches! and it’s a supermarket so you can get drinks and snacks there too!
