When I lived in this neighborhood I often stopped by here. It’s a quick stop to grab fresh vegetable, fruits and some authentic Caribbean treats. The price is very reasonable. Grocery stores like this is often the best place to pick up fruits and vegetables. It’s much much cheaper than the supermarket.
I do cook a lot of Jamaican meals at home and I like coming here for the right ingredients. On my last visit I picked up a pack of curry powder (Betapac).
There’s nothing wrong with supporting your local mom and pop businesses.
