History

Established in 1953.

Back in 1953 Bernie opened up his first used car lot on Whitlock Ave. right here in The Bronx. With a very humble beginning Bernie made a name for B & L so much so that B & L Auto Sales became one of the first Toyota Dealerships (B & L Toyota) in The New York Tri-​State area in 1964. After retiring from Toyota about 20 years later, Bernie has always kept himself very involved in the car business. It is now 2015 and even though at the young age of 88 he now has Steven M and Rick with him he still shows up to work every day and interacts with every customer that comes through the doors.
