History

Established in 1985.

A Affordable Experts got started in a very simple way. We had found that there weren’t too many other tree service competitors positioned in the Bronx. We decided to take advantage of the open market.

We carry a lot of pride and history as a tree service company because in a way, were looked at as heroes. Before 1985, the amount of legitimate tree service companies that existed versus overnight-​temporary guys was not proportioned right. Bronx customers were getting taken advantage of left and right. It’s not like any homeowner or business owner can just cut down a tree, this is very dangerous work. They had no choice but to fall victim to sky-​high pricing and slow service. A Affordable Tree Experts wanted to change all of this… and we did!

It’s certainly very crazy managing a tree service company. A Affordable Tree Experts has been a great place to manage from my perspective due to the overall respect we have from Bronx Homeowners and Businesses. The owners of the company saw an opportunity to start offering much lower prices with much higher value than the competition.

This drove a lot of the overnight companies out of town, and things have been smooth ever since. Every now and then, we end up having a huge storm and get calls about trees falling on homes, builidings, cars and other property. It’s times like that where we hope that we don’t get calls about any one getting hurt. So the tree service business can definitely be a thrill. All I can say is-there’s nothing else like it!
