On its 16th anniversary the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation has announced the grand opening of their first thrift store and clothing donation center «The Big B supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters» located at the Crescent Plaza 715 Crescent St. in Brockton. The Foundation has been operating since 1996 collecting donations of lightly used clothing and small household items in over 200 towns throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. Big Brother Big Sister Foundation turns clothing donations into funds to help support their local mentoring programs.
Their new store carries a variety of new and used items for adults and children in all sizes. You will also find shoes, glassware, jewelry, and musical instruments. Many items are new with tags sold for more than 75% off retail prices. Proceeds from all purchases support children participating in BBBS mentoring programs in Brockton and the Greater Boston area.
