Massasoit Community College

The administrative staff I give a grade of C, most are helpful, but some make you feel like your bothering them. The faculty are all nice but I give them a general grade of C because some are lacking in the classroom experience they provide and their overall teaching style is not conducive to learning.

I am getting ready to receive my Associates degree in May from Massasoit and I have nothing but good things to say abut this school! Reading some of the other reviews I was shocked because my 2 year experience here has been nothing but positive and I have developed some excellent knowledge from the professors here. The staff has always seemed professional to me and I have never had a problem of any kind with the school, professors, or staff here! I highly recommend this school to anyone who is considering it! Everyone here truly wants YOU to succeed the professors go above and beyond to make sure you are doing the best you can and prepare you for whatever your future holds. I have found nothing but support here and am very happy with my experience.

I dropped a class the day after taking the Design and Color 1 class. The person in charge of the class was just a total washout. She spent that entire first class telling us about other people’s work that had been done, but as though she were walking on broken glass, and was still hung over from the pain. Nothing in the class inspired confidence in the material, the instructor, or the educational validity of continuing.
So I went to drop the class.
I get a letter a few weeks after with a bill. Excuse me? I dropped this class? I remember, because there was a fat white woman with medium hair in her 30s giving me attitude about not paying for the class before attending it. Like, a lot of attitude. But I dropped it. Well, angry bitch decided that she didn’t like me doing so, and she ‘misplaced’ my paperwork.
So now I am stuck with a bill for a class that was a waste for every unfortunate soul in there. When I called up to dispute it, I was told to have my paper slip. You mean the slip for the class I decided not to take? Silly me, I thought Massasoit was competent and wouldn’t pull nonsense like this.
I hope Massasoit folds. I would be tempted to give sham-​DeVry University or Phoenix a higher rating for morality.

I am a firm believer in Massasoit Community College. Massasoit provides access to quality higher education in a community environment. For those who spread a poor reputation of it, you only get as much as you put into it. If you just barely go to class and do not study, you will not have a good experience. Go, be involved, study hard, and you will be rewarded.
