I found this place on a whim after visiting some relatives in the area. The dish I got: Legume(smother veggies), sos pwa(black bean sauce), diri(rice), beef, and banann pese(pressed plantains). This hearty plate, well portioned, home styled like no other, was delicious. I was nearly in a food coma after eating half of the meal. I kid you not. I couldn’t put the food down. I got my relatives in on the deal and they’ve been sold every since. You won’t find this style of preparation at other Haitian cuisines. Belle Epoque is how Haitian cuisine should be made(outside of the home anyway). The atmosphere is causal. There is seating and drinks available. And it’s affordable. I can’t say much about their other dishes. I generally stick with what I like. I’ve actually driven out of my way just to get the same plate. Please come by and try for yourself.(Unfortunately, I just discovered this placed closed)

I am giving a 3 for bland and dry chicken with hardly any sauce. The haitain patties were delish and I could eat a shelf of them :) Service was nice. A mother/daughter team runs it and they are great. I am pretty sure once business picks up the food should improve. They have a small menu as of present but once people get in there it should be the talk of the town.
