Walmart

I have to sorta agree with the negative reviewers of this location. When I was here, I was shocked to discover that most of the employees were teens fooling around with each other. It scared me, because it felt like an episode of «Sliders». Chaos and noncompliance reigns within when youth is king. It is dark and dingy, as another reviewer noted. It feels like a prison. On a good note, they had «Littlest Pet Shop» items that were hot one and a half years ago. I can’t figure out if kids hate certain toys in Bristol, or if Hasbro boxes were pushed to the side and hidden behind other, bigger boxes; forgotten, and then rediscovered one and a half years later. A mystery that might interest people who love dated stuff. Well, with Walmarts all over our land, you will have no trouble finding another location to dis.

This seems to be the Walmart that time forgot. They are small, dirty, and still have the old logo with giant block letters hanging on the building. I’m ashamed to admit it, but I still go there on occasion because they are in a convenient location for me, and they are cheap. This is not the typical Supercenter that they are building nowadays, so don’t expect a huge selection. I have found the staff to be rude and mostly clueless, so I generally try to use self checkout to avoid them. If you have the time, I would recommend the Tullytown WM a few miles up the road. Cleaner, larger, and staffed with employees that seem to care.

Went to pick up my online purchase and the lady didn’t want to help me. She acted like she couldn’t look up my order by the alternate customer. Thankfully I had the pleasure of going to the levittown location and was able to see what great customer care was. I will never go to this location again.

I was at this Walmart last night to take back a toy my son got doubles of for Christmas the girl in customer service was great very helpful and polite. So after that I grabbed a few things and went to check out we the cashier was rude and not nice. I had told her she rang in one of my items 2x but instead of just checking she kept refusing that she didn’t make a mistake and that was my total amount until finally I made her print up a receipt and showed her that I was double charged. After pleading with her for 5 minutes she took it off and I had change of $ 7 I asked her if she can give it to me in all ones and she told me no very rudely. The last few experiences I had with Walmart have not been great I don’t know if I will return.

Kevin G is correct, this is the Wallmart from hell. People always waiting in line, staff unavailable. The one in Trevose treats you much better, but they have a Target down the road. Normally I will go to Dollar General, dollar store or Ollies, but every now and then I have to hold my nose and go to the Bristol Wallmart.

This walmart is atrocious. I dropped a prescription off this morning for my daughter, I wanted to wait the pharmacy tech said it would be an hour and a half. Uh what? It’s for infant Amoxicillian, you mix it up and put the cap on it. The pharmacy tech was rude and not pleasant at all. My husband goes back 2.5 hours later and it’s still not ready.
This Walmart truly sucks.

Of the different Walmart stores I’ve been to, this one is decent. Don’t expect anything above and beyond. You shouldn’t. It’s Walmart.
This location overall is clean and generally well staffed. I prefer it over the other location nearby to me, even though they are smaller with shorter hours.

If you’re thinking «Elker, no! You do have a choice where to spend your all-​powerful consumer dollars! Don’t squander it on these maquiladora-​abusing jerks!» you’ve clearly never been to Bristol. Or maybe you’re thinkin’ «Yo Elker — there’s another Walmart like five minutes away,» in which case I’d rejoin that Elker’s right: this is the lesser of two evils. They have fewer items out of stock and the employees don’t front like they’ve got someplace better to be. Shop here if you’ve already sold your soul. Do punch yourself in the face for all the kids that got maimed by medieval equipment making your $ 0.05 sweatpants, though.

wow this place is so slow, i have never seen a staff that was so slow and did nothing to help people out.

OMG. Now I understand that jokes about «people of Wal-​Mart» really apply to the staff!
I’ve been to a lot of Wal-​Marts around the country, and I’ve always found them to be a very pleasant experience with tons of selection and great prices. Then I entered the WALMART FROM HELL.
This staff at this store was more zombie than human, and they were ignorant and rude as well.
I was grilled for five minutes because I was buying Claritin. I understand there’s a law requiring you to swipe my drivers license and take down information from it. No Problem. I do that every time I buy Claritin. It goes too far when the 15 year old mutant girl at the counter tell me she thinks I have a fake drivers license! and asks why do I have a California Drivers License if I live in Bristol? LOL I don’t live in Bristol, I’m free to travel between these United States of America. I live in California. She then asks «Why didn’t you buy Claritin at home?»
Umm. Hello? Am I not allowed to travel? I should’ve known something was up when she was calling the customer before me an «Asshole» to conclude their transaction.
Not content with just that, I also needed to pick up cigars for an event I was attending the next day. I asked if they carried cigars, and then I was pointed to the area they were kept. The area had a «saloon door» in front of it that was more open space than actual door, and it said you must be 21+. I guess to keep the kids out. I went in and browsed around and found some appropriate selections and then brought my wagon up front to check out.
So anyway, when I’m ringing up my own stuff in this hellhole when i scan the cigars it says I need an employee to an age check. I flag down an employee who appears to be related to Large Marge of Pee Wee’s big adventure. I let her know the machine was asking for an age check. She then snatched my cigars and repeatedly asks me in a very loud and accusing voice «WHERE DID YOU GET THESE???» «YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE THESE». I let her know I was told where the cigars were and I went and picked some out. She says «YOU JUST WENT IN THERE AND PICKED OUT WHAT YOU WANTED??? YOUR NOT ALLOWED TO GO IN THERE!!! Can you Believe this? HE JUST WENT IN THERE».
I let her know if thats the case, perhaps they should post a sign, as the only sign says you «need to be 21» and I am. And if it’s a secure area, I would reccomend putting an actual door on it, not a little tiny door similar to what you walk through when you walk into a Bev-​Mo. She just kept saying «NO ONE IS ALLOWED IN THERE». Well, sounds like you should post it, or staff it. While this run down dump may be your whole life and you have all the unwritten rules memorized, remember that I’m just passing through and will never return to this location.
Avoid this store and keep on driving down the road!
