Said they opened at 11. We were still waiting for them to open the doors at 11:15. Ordered as soon as we got in the door and the food was about an hour wait. The staff was helpful however is assisting what was good.

I call to place an order. I have a couple of questions. The girl on the phone seemed rather irritated that I had a question, like which veggies do they put on their veggie pizza. Seemed basic enough. Her response when I asked if I was bothering her was that they were just really busy. Well they were a little less busy, because I didn’t place an order. Maybe management should take a look at how their employees communicate with their customers.

Decent pizza. Good crust. Far better than the other dismal pizza offerings in Bristol. A little off the beaten path but it was nice to venture out. Be careful if you’re calling for take away, I accidentally called the other location and showed up to no pizza. Silly me!

Needed something quick to eat while traveling through to DC. Found this place on Unilocal and ordered take out 10 min. outside of town. Our order: 1 large pepperoni pizza 1 order of 6 pizza muffins 2 garden salads The pizza muffins were excellent for the kids in the car and tasty too. If I had it to do over again I would have just ordered more of these instead of a messy pizza. The pizza was better than your average pizza but not spectacular. The garden salads were very fresh and crisp. They included pepperccinis, green and black olives, grated mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and more than enough dressing. One salad is large enough for a full meal. I will be stopping here again.

Great local spot… My favorite is the salads with some of the best cheese sticks I’ve ever had… The subs are spot on. Love the Italian or Ham cap… The pizza is real decent, as well as the pizza muffins. Bella’s of Bristol and Moon Dog Brick Oven(Abingon, Va) are affiliated/same owner I believe. The menus are the same. BUT, Moon Dogs has a few more adult beverage options :))) and that’s always a good thing.

We stopped in for a pizza and a few beers during a recent mountain trip, and left having not spent a lot of money, and entirely satisfied. The pizza is well made, and huge — brick oven prepared, very good New York-style crust, and loaded with toppings, almost to the point of being too much. We ordered a large with extra cheese and other toppings, and the cheese was probably a half-inch thick on parts of the pie. The thing must have weighed close to three pounds. We don’t often get to Bristol, but we’ll be back to visit again when we’re next in town.

Fan of this place. Bristol staple, apparently they are using brick ovens now, haven’t tried that. I have notice that they started using a different, maybe cheaper type of cheese. Seemed like the cheese was shredded or diced, not like the big square pieces of mozz they used to lay on the pie. Every time i’m in town i make sure to visit. would recommend to pizza connoisseurs.

Not sure why this place is hot with the locals but then again they dont have many options. Barely there beer selection. Pizzas are just average. Nothing unique on the menu. Subs are average.

Bella’s now uses a brick oven. Delicious pizza and pizza muffins. Fab salads. Blue cheese dressing is a must.

Best subs in Bristol. Every trip I make home usually results in dining at Bella’s the night I arrive because I can’t wait to get my fix. The homemade dough for the sub rolls is absolutely fantastic.

Absolutely terrible. Takes forever and the food is brutal. Keep driving.

I stopped here recently on a cross country road trip and was satisfied. One thing that I thought was unusual was that the regular size sandwich was actually two 6″ sandwiches. If for some reason return to Bristol I’d stop by there again.
