Favorite bagel place in CT! I live in NC now and make sure I visit bagels plus every time I travel to CT! The bagels are so soft! Always fresh and so many choices. Cream cheeses are amazing. The lady who creates the flavors is so sweet and loves to share her new concoctions! Great quality food with a sweet staff!

Went here today. Prices are very reasonable and friendly service. The sundried tomato bagel had a good flavor. The bagel just wasn’t toasted enough and the cream cheese was cold so the bagel would have tasted much better if they actually toasted it longer. They were not skimpy with the scallion cream cheese and that also had a good flavor. I would return again to support this local business. Just make sure to ask for extra toasted.

Stopped in at 12:04pm for lunch. Orders and egg sandwich and was told the grill was shut off at 12… Not great customer service and your a bagel/deli shop, eggs should be served all hours open. I proceeded to order a bagel with butter to go… What I received did not look appetizing and I wound up throwing it away. Not a great first impression for my first time here. I wouldn’t recommend. There are so many other options on this road… Go there!

Stopped in the later morning on our way to Foxwoods and all their bagel baskets were still full! That’s surprising cause it’s Sunday! Today I was no happy! The young girls waiting on us had no experience and seem lost! I ordered a salt bagel with lite butter. They don’t even use REAL butter! How could you not use real butter at a Bagel Shop??? My mom ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel Toasted with butter and a Large coffee. What she got was a barely toasted bagel with hardly any butter! The owner gave her a Meduim coffee which was leaking all over! I had to hear her complain all the way down to the casino! Not an enjoyable ride down. I wasn’t happy at all either. We were going to get 2 more bagels but the casino has Einstein bagels there, which are far better than these full of air bagels! Next time I’m in town I’ll be going to Fancy Bagels!

Even though I’m supposed to be gluten-free, I make exceptions for truly good glutinous foods like bagels. When I’m in the area and have some spare cash and feel like treating myself, I make sure to stop in and indulge. Their bagels are far better than Dunkin’s and even better than some of the other big chains like Bruegger’s(which says a lot since I really like Bruegger’s). I usually get an Egg bagel with regular cream cheese and lox and have never been disappointed! I have yet to try their myriad of other cream cheeses and bagels, but I will definitely have to make a point of doing so. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they offer catering. I would probably think I died and went to Heaven if I went to a breakfast buffet and the bagels came from this location! If you’re in love with breakfast foods like yours truly, then Bagels Plus & Deli should definitely be one of your next stops!

Best bagels, always fresh and delicious. Excellent staff, clean and well kept– couldn’t be better(unless they started offering Coca-Cola Products, or fresh brewed iced tea that is) Bakers dozen is still 13 bagels and these are worth buying to stock the freezer for snacks later.

Best bagel shop in the area. The only place that I can find a decent SALT bagel. Also, their bacon horseradish cream cheese is simply amazing! The staff is always friendly and they have great breakfast sandwiches there too!

If you’re into bagels and don’t feel like going to one of the ELEVEN(yes, seriously) Dunkin Donuts in Bristol, then Bagels Plus is the place to go. With a large selection of bagel varieties as well as different flavors of cream cheese, you’d be hard-pressed to want to order the same combo twice. Besides bagels, they also have a variety of sandwiches and baked goods, none of which I’ve tried(and let’s be honest, I won’t) but I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. The big downside to this particular location is its size. It is TINY in there, making any more than 5 customers feel like you’re packed in an elevator with them. So if you’re looking for something a little different from the standard bagel varieties, or just want a really good bagel and cream cheese, check out Bagels Plus(if you can squeeze in).

Sad to say but every time I get to here, the bagels are smaller and the prices are higher… this used to my favorite spot, now the coffee is good, but priced too high as well!!!

Best bagels I’ve ever had! So many flavors of bagels and cream cheese spreads to choose from(favorite combo: cheddar bagel with jalapeño cream cheese). Staff is friendly, place is fairly clean(albeit small), and there’s an impressive collection of news articles on the wall celebrating local events. This is basically everything you want in your neighborhood bagel shop. I live in NYC now, and I miss this place like crazy! That should say something!!!

The options at Bagels Plus are sure to appease, Given the countless flavors of cream cheese. There’s quite a few kinds of bagels too, Go for breakfast for a quick place to chew. When you are half-asleep at 8 in the morning it is pretty difficult to choose something to eat on the extensive menu of bagels and cream cheeses at Bagels Plus. I stuck with an old reliable option: Veggie Cream Cheese on a Pumpernickel bagel. It was OK. The bagel was smaller than most and the flavors were similar to Dunkin. Seemed a little pricier than the average breakfast. They had a bunch of hot coffee flavors, but only a limited number of iced coffee flavor options. I ordered a specialty flavor of iced coffee and was shut down because they only made that flavor in hot coffee. The overall layout was a bit confusing and stressful. The bagel flavors are all on one side of the cashier and the cream cheese flavors are on the other. Would have been nice if everything was in one place or on the menu on the wall. Maybe it was there, but I was not caffeinated and could not find it, especially given how crowded it was. Overall, average place for a bagel. I was impressed by the selection.

Bagels Plus is a very solid bagel place right on Route 6 in Bristol. The strength of the place is the variety of flavors for both bagels and cream cheeses. They have a number of sweet and savory cream cheeses, including mango, bacon and horseradish, scallion, and more. The bacon and horseradish is great — not too spicy, but with enough of a taste of both items to make for a satisfying breakfast. I have not tried any of the non-bagel items, but they do also have breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Parking is easy as they are located in the same plaza as Starbucks and a number of other businesses. The price is right as well, as you can get a bagel with cream cheese for around $ 3. Overall, Bagels Plus is a good, quick and afforadable breakfast option if you find yourself in Bristol.

This is by far the best bagel shop in the area. This is the only place around that cooks their egg sandwiches with real eggs. The other shops use the same microwaved eggs that D&D uses. I have never had a bad bagel here! My favorite is the asiago, but the French toast, spinach, golden, and everything bagels are all good. It is rather small inside so it can seem a bit crowded at times. Worth it though!

Great bagels. The dough is made fresh in the restaurant. Being along side of mcdonalds has no bearing on making me always stop in for a fresh bagel. The eggs are cooked fresh and all the meat is as well fresh including the bacon which is always cooked to a perfect crisp. By far the best bagels in town. The staff is friendly and the service is prompt. Some would say that it is a cramped building but what does that matter when the food is so good. Plenty more to offer in the way of breakfast food including sandwiches and so forth. The cream cheese if outstanding with a large variety including new specials all the time. I came into the restaurant a week before the Super Bowl and they had flavors for both the Broncos and the SeaHawks. No need to search around in the morning for a quick home made breakfast to eat on the go or in the restaurant. Bagels plus surpasses it’s completion by leaps and bounds and is for sure worth checking out if your in the mode for a quick good home made quality breakfast. I highly recommend this being that I have been searching for that«morning food» for any years. It will not disappoint you and the prices are extremely fair as well. Stop in or don’t stop in, with so much foot traffic it will make no difference. A staple in Bristol as a great restaurant that has hold it’s own for many many years and many more to come :)

A good spot to pick up a quick sandwich(and the woman who helped me was super friendly and even marked the sandwiches for the regular and spicy mustard(since they were the same)). I’d heard stories from other friends about shoddy customer service – making people wait while serving the«regulars», but I didn’t experience that. I hope that’s not the case – good to treat regulars well, but I hope everyone gets the service I did.

Feels a bit run down on the inside, but the food is decent. Semi-friendly service, with a good bagel and Green Mountain coffee. A nice alternative to the corporate chain of Starbucks further down this strip mall. Give them a try.

When I’m in Plainville I get a bacon egg and cheese and a dozen bagels. If you want a great bagel in the area this is where to go.

Stopped in on a Sunday for bagel sandwiches for lunch. This place is TINY. With 6 people in line, it felt crowded. There are a couple tables where you could sit and eat, but I don’t think you’d want to — it would be a fire hazard. They have a good selection of bagel flavors, and the muffins, brownies, and cookies looked yummy too. One major drawback: the prices are high. For two small sandwiches, and one drink(bottled iced tea), the total was $ 15.56. We didn’t even get chips or anything else. You get a much better value at a chain sandwich shop.

Bagels have been a Sunday morning tradition for my family as long as I can remember. This is a great mom-&-pop bagel shop. You’re likely to see them both hard at work behind the counter or grill, but never too busy to say hello to the many regulars they’ve come to know by name. They support local groups and events, and even have a wall dedicated to newspaper clippings featuring employees’ and customers’ community accomplishments! Now what you really want to know about: THEBAGELS… These bagels tend to be on the fluffier side(as opposed to some super-dense NY-styles), but have a satisfying chewiness and good flavor– and such variety: There’s a healthy selection of savory and sweet bagels, as well as various other baked goodies on the counter, flavored coffees and teas, juices and other cold bottled drinks, Italian and seasonal salads, deli meats, and enough cream cheese flavors to boggle the mind! Always service with a smile and witty Italian hospitality. Expect to wait in a moderate line weekend mornings, and consider phoning in large orders a few hours ahead of time.
