I used to enjoy listening to Howie, for entertainment value, He used to be funny. Ever since he became heavily involved in this political cycle, he’s become a Trump rump-​swab (to use his own term!) and almost impossible to listen to. He interrupts all his callers, talks all over them, and continually stumbles over his words. For someone who has been in the business as long as he has, you’d think he’d take some diction lessons or something. Yeesh. I much more highly recommend the John Bachelor show, although I’m not sure what channel he’s on in the Boston area. At least he is smart, articulate, and has interesting guests.

Was listening today to Mike Siegle bashing on the Pope visit to Turkey! He kept saying however and continuously that he «Siegel» was not a catholic not a Christian! He kept distorting the facts of the goal of the visit! He then added to the cocktail of lies by bashing Obama and and all kind of nonsense! It was a joke at one stage I laughed and could not stand the mediocrity and propaganda this dude he was trashing!

Hands down, the worst radio station in the Boston market by far. An annoying mouthpiece of the right wing propaganda machine, their demographics are geared towards the over 65 crowd, just like Fox News.
I’ll flip through channels on a commercial break and tune in for five minutes to hear something that can be debunked in 30 seconds with a quick Google search on the topic. Apparently, they play their listeners for fools and think they’ll soak up anything heard on this station as fact. Facts? What are those? Oh, just something you’ll rarely hear on 680.
You can only be insulted so many times on air because you might be left leaning in your political views before you laugh and shut it off for good. They are out of touch with the young demographic and sound like insane people that rant in a nursing home. They lost Rush Limbaugh and then brought him back, probably because their already paltry ratings tanked even more.
Stick to something like NPR where they aren’t as blatantly biased as this station and can give you two sides to a story. If you like emotionally driven, senior citizen drivel then this may be your cup of tea… along with the 12 other people in all of Boston who actually tune in.

This will move to my number one station if they hire Jim and Margery, Michael Smerconish, and The Money Show hosts (formerly of 96.9 fm).
Mass migration to 680 am — don’t let us down, please hire the good hosts — Andelmans are fine — but at the bottom of the list.

Five Stars for the most expensive «Carr on OUR lot.» I’ve been on that show several times, won a couple of T shirts, and have had the voice changer, the witness protection device of the Howie Carr Show, disguise my true identity.
