Signal Graphics

I work for a small consulting firm in the area. We started using Signal Graphics when the wait at Staples was too long (not to mention it is super convenient to our office). As one reviewer wrote, the website isn’t special, but if you get on the phone with Greg (the owner) you can talk through what you need and he is always spot on. He is a hard worker and willing to put in extra hours to get the job done.

After coming to Signal Graphics for a few years now for very small jobs, I decided officially rate it.
What I usually need to do is to print out some emails or directions; maybe some colored or B&W images off the Internet and fax service. The prices beat off having a printer at home (8 cents per page of a better quality). Greg, the owner, is practically one person business with some part time helpers. It’s true that he doe snot have a photo printer but what he has is still a good quality and he was very much upfront about it.
What I really like is that he would go extra mile (and miles!) to help me to find a solution. Sometimes, my computer would have one font but his printer see it differently, so he would spend time and find the font that would be acceptable. He has the patience!!! Even though he has so little time, he never turned me away. I can say there is no job too small for him to do and guess what? He can stay after hours and if you really need those printouts, you can call him and see if he is still at work!
As far as a website, I can not say anything, did not try it yet. I am sure it is hard to compete with Big businesses who has much more resources.

I haven’t used Signal Prints because their web site is all but useless. There are so many print options, locally and online that being able to get pricing and details on services through the web site is imperative.

These guys were fast and cheap, but I wanted an 8×11 photo printed and the quality was pretty bad, with big losses in texture and resolution. They admitted that they didn’t have a «photo printer», but they DID slice the borders off the image for me.
This is probably a great place for printing things other than high-​res photos.

I just got 200 of my mix CD covers printed here on the recommendation of an associate and I was very happy with the service and the job. I would much rather support an independant print shop than Kinkos so Signal Graphics is the perfect spot for short run print jobs and it’s only a 5 minute walk from my office so I can get some exercise during the day.
