Scottie Alexander recently did our wedding in Plymouth MI, and our DJ was Kenny who did a spectacular job. We ended up finding Scottie Alexander entertainment through a friend of ours. They had done our friends wedding, and were very impressed with the work they did. Our friends actually had the other DJ from this company. Foremost, Kenny, had the right personality for a DJ. I’ve been to weddings where the DJ doesn’t talk clearly, or isn’t comfortable engaging the crowd. We sat down with Kenny before the wedding, and walked through the entire reception and all the special events we wanted. Kenny did a great job of dictating the tempo of the reception, and keeping things on track. Between the dances, toasts, cake cutting and other things, he made sure to move the reception along. Best of all, Kenny was an actual DJ. He mixed songs together, and paid attention to how the crowd felt about music. If a requested song was getting to slow and not danceable, he mixed in a new song. All too often I go to weddings, and the DJ merely functions as an Itunes play list. This was not the case with Kenny. Our friends loved him, and one of our single friends even boasted, «you’ll do my wedding why I get married!» Overall, we don’t think the DJ could have turned out better, and all of our friends had a great time dancing at our wedding.
