History

Established in 1930.

Hilbert Seed was established on August 16, 1930, then changing names to Cowbell Seeds in 1948. In 1988 Lawn Patch was developed, then sold to US Home and Garden in 1998, along with the names Amturf/​Ampro. In 1998, owner Scott Hilbert created Rhino Seed & Turf Supply. In 2006 EZ-​Straw blankets were launched, in 2008 a line of EZ– Straw products were developed; EZ-​Straw With Tack, EZ-​Straw Combination Product, EZ-​Straw Just Straw, EZ-​Straw Animal Bedding, and our newest product EZ-​Straw Wildflowers.
