RaskinStudio is operated by a Boston photographer, Zahar Raskin. Zahar specializes in creative lighting and portrait techniques. He believes that every individual has a unique character that can be explored through still images. Zahar enjoys working with people to bring forth the spark of their personalities and their life-​loving nature. His goal is to capture a special moment in a way that it comes to life every time someone looks at the pictures.

Whether you are looking to add precious images to your family album, give your loved one a photo session as a birthday present, have a photographer accompany you during any type of an outdoor adventure, or create marketing materials for your business, Zahar is happy to help. All photo sessions start with a consultation, which gives clients an opportunity to share ideas with the photographer and contribute to the creative process.

Zahar Raskin holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in design from Boston University.

Hi, my name is Zahar Raskin, and I am an owner and lead photographer at RaskinStudio. Since 2009 RaskinStudio has been a premier Boston-​based photography business, specializing in wedding, family, portrait, and commercial photography. I work very hard to understand each customer’s creative ideas and to capture special moments in a way that brings them to life every time someone looks at the pictures.

At RaskinStudio we specialize in creative lighting and portrait techniques. I enjoy combining my passion for photography and my love for working with people to bring forth the spark of their personalities and their life-​loving nature. I believe that every individual has a unique character that can be explored through still images. I have traveled extensively throughout Eastern and Western Europe, South America, North America, Southeast Asia and India, and love working with people from different ethnic origins and cultural backgrounds.
