Our founder and Director, Patricia Sue Cherry first enrolled her oldest son in a Montessori school in 1980. Then, she became certified as a Montessori Teacher. Sue taught at Livingston Montessori Center and Go Like the Wind Montessori before deciding to open Maple Tree.

Maple Tree moved and expanded, adding a Montessori Elementary program in 2005. The school continues to grow and currently has students through the 6th grade.
